PWINSIDER Q&A: LEGACY OF THE KLIQ, REY MYSTERIO WEARING THE MASK IN PUBLIC, RHINO, RAT ON A POLE & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2008-02-10 11:17:32

I was just thinking about something and would love your opinion on it. Out of all the kliq, who would you say is going to leave the biggest impression on the wrestling world, in a good way? Also who'll leave the biggest impression in a bad way?  Shawn Michaels with his legendary career, and his previous backstage attitudes and involvement in the Montréal, Kevin Nash for his original involvement in the nWo and the way it changed wrestling at the time, and then his booking in WCW. Triple H for marrying into the McMahon family? Sean Waltman for making that movie with Chyna and subjecting the world to that *unique* sight. Scott Hall for his time as Razor Ramon and during the nWo invasion with Nash, and his subsequent problems. Or Justin Credible... Thanks again guys love the sight, sorry that went on so long

In terms of a legacy, I don't think there is any question that Shawn Michaels, from an in-ring standpoint, will have left the best legacy, but I'm going to go with Triple H.  He wields far more political power and stroke than any other member of the clique and that power will only grow with time.  In terms of the worst, that's really subjective, but I'll go with Scott Hall, because (in the long term) he did the least with the most amount of talent and still has issues to this day despite many of his closest friends trying to support him and every major company giving him chance after chance.

I'd like to know where is Rhino? Is he still in TNA or what?

As we've mentioned here on PWInsider.com, Rhino took some time off to deal with some family issues and is waiting to return when the booking dictates.

Honestly, did I really just turn on TNA to see a Rat on a pole match? Why on earth.

Well, it is the year of the Rat according to the Chinese New Year....

Any news regarding the status of Triple H? Is he back on the road? Will he be at No way Out and are his chances to win the chamber the same?

I haven't heard if he's back on the road yet, but rest assured he will be at the No Way Out PPV and whatever the original booking plans were are still in place.

How does Rey Mysterio travel with his mask when it comes to airport security? I'm sure they make him take it off or something. But at the same time, there are so many other people around, that unmasking would allow him to reveal himself to everyone around to see.

No, Luchadors don't travel with their masks on but many of them will put the masks on as they are heading to the building.
