Me and my buddy are in that category of fans that are excited about the possibility of Flair vs. Mr. Wrestlemania Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 24. But we need you to solve a bet between my friend and I. He says they have already had a match against each other (not counting tag matches). I say they haven't had a singles match against each other.
Off the top of my head, I can tell you that they wrestled each other in a singles match at Bad Blood 2003, with Flair winning. So, your buddy is right.
My question might be a reach but what are the chances that Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney defeat John Morrison and The Miz at Wrestlemania for the tag straps with Delaney pinning one of them in a huge upset? I just think it would be a great Wrestlemania moment seeing the underdog get a win on the biggest stage of the year. I know they aren't doing much with the tag division on any of the brands so why not go for this?
I like your idea, but I think the chances of it happening at Wrestlemania are slim. The Smackdown Tag Team Champions haven't even been part of Wrestlemania the past few years, and I just don't see a tag match based around Colin Delaney making it onto the card.
Looking at clips of Hulk Hogan in 1995, was he blind to the fact that he was fans were getting bored of his face character during the WCW pay per views? Because of that, was he looking for a way to turn heel or did the NWO thing just drop in his lap in 96?
Depends why you want to believe, as I've heard several different versions of what happened. The most common is that Eric Bischoff suggested to Hogan that he turn heel, since the "classic" version of the Hulkster had been run into the ground. However, others have suggested that Hogan saw Hall & Nash coming into the company as having a ton of momentum and wanted to get in on it.
I have a quick question for you, since everyone throws their Wrestlemania scenarios at you. There have been rumors of Foley vs. McMahon. Instead, what about Cactus Jack vs. Umaga?
I actually seem to recall that being a rumored match for last year's show, before the Umaga-Lashley match came together. I have heard that Foley is very interested in being part of Wrestlemania, but nothing about him vs. Umaga. Certainly, a wild brawl between the two seems a natural, although given the lack of push Foley's appearance in the Royal Rumble got, I have to wonder if WWE is that interested in giving him a singles showcase at Mania.
During the Raw 15th anniversary special, I noticed that every member of the McMahon family was there except Mrs. McMahon. The wife of Vince McMahon as well as the mother to both Stephanie & Shane. Was she there? If not, why not?
The storyline reason was that she wasn't feeling well. I haven't heard any other concrete reason, although I would guess that given the over-the-top nature of the segment, there really wasn't a place for her (usually) straight-laced character in it.
