I see your point, but when you are a multi-million dollar company, you have to come up with concepts to grab the public's eye when they see them and living in New York City, I thought the Royal Rumble marketing this year was awesome.
Whatever happened to Paul London? I haven't seen him on RAW, Heat, or
any house show reports.
That seems to be a question a lot of fans have asked in the last few weeks. I mentioned last week on the PWInsider.com Elite Hotline that London was said to have suffered a foot or ankle injury of some kind, although we don't have that 100% confirmed.
With "The Bussey Bunch" starting Tuesday at 9 on TLC, I thought I'd ask the most obvious question.........who the heck are these people and is this legit or TV produced BS?
The Bussey family promote Arlington, Texas' Professional Championship Wrestling. While I can't vouch for how legitimate the "reality" show will be, they are a legitimate family producing independent professional wrestling.
I cringe every time I see Jeff Hardy do his finisher. I love the move, but when I see him take off I can't help but think that one day he will miss by just enough to snap his neck or something. With the size of the push he seems to be getting (BTW, directTv's preview photo for NWO has Jeff Hardy in an Elimination Chamber) doesn't the WWE worry about such a dangerous move? Have you even known him to miss? Have you even know anyone who has? What is the legit risk when he does that move?
Obviously, WWE has no problem with his swanton finisher, since they still allow him to do it. Hardy has missed the move, but usually when he's booked to do so in a match.
Any word on the Rob Van Dam front? I know the WWE was pushing hard at one point to get him back but what about now? Any hope?
Van Dam is taking a well-deserved break from wrestling, but will make appearances here and there when he wants to, such as the Raw anniversary show or a special appearance for friend Booker T's PWA promotion. He's taking time to spend with his family, working on several outside projects and is producing his online RVD-TV, which is pretty entertaining, at www.robvandam.com.
