So if we're building to Flair at Wrestlemania, how about Flair vs. Hogan? Flair wins and goes out on top. Think WWE would go for it? Think Hogan would job to Flair? I've never ordered a WWE PPV event, but that match I'd pay to see. Two of the best ever in the ring would be awesome. What's your take?
I suppose they could do it, and given his current situation, Hogan might be a lot more opening to doing a job than he was in the past. That said, it isn't like Hogan-Flair hasn't happened before. Still, it might be fun to revisit again.
Damn it, why do I like Santino Marella??? Something isn't right here....
Because he's entertaining in his role as an arrogant jerk who always gets what is coming to him in the end?
I was watching the Triumph and Tragedy of World Class DVD, and it is definitely the best DVD WWE has produced. Everybody that they did profiles on were great and the DVD made me care about the characters in WCCW making me wish I was around during that era. There was one star that caught my attention and that was Gino Hernandez. I thought he looked like a star and somebody who could've been great if it wasn't for his early death. How would you guys rate Gino and how great could he have been?
In my opinion, Gino was a good worker in terms of matches, and was a fantastic heel in terms of getting heat. His arrogant promos incited the fans in Texas, and his teams with Tully Blanchard and Chris Adams were great. He definitely had the promo ability and persona to go on to great things, but his wild lifestyle would ultimately be his undoing.
Any idea where I could pick up an EC F'n W shirt online? I thought I heard that they went out of print a year or two ago, but a friend told me he saw them for sale at a store at the mall recently. Also, what are your recommendations for wrestling merch websites other than highspots.com or the shops of each respective promotion?
RingsideCollectibles.com still have a limited number of ECF'NW shirts left. If they don't have your size available, then your best bet is probably ebay.
Can you tell me what led to Ron Killings leaving TNA? He was always entertaining and talented performer. Also is the firing of Christopher Daniels an angle or is he gone for good?
Ron Killings wasn't happy with his on/off pushes and lack of direction, so he took up TNA on their offer to let any wrestler who wanted a release to have one. Of course, Killings has left and returned before, so I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again. As for Christopher Daniels, his "firing" is all an angle.
