With TNA going on tour more often, doesn't that change the entire reason that some people, like Sting and Kurt, said they came to TNA over WWE for anyway? I mean we hear constantly that the main draw to TNA over WWE is the schedule, but it seems TNA is starting to tour more and more. So do you think this will work against TNA when trying to bring people over from WWE?
No because the tours won't be as long and grueling as the regular WWE schedule usually is. TNA tapes TV every other week and has one PPV a month. Sprinkling a few house shows a month won't hurt those who wanted a lighter schedule, since TNA rotates who are on the shows. In the case of Sting, he's never worked one TNA house show.
I have a question and need some information. Teddy Long has been a really good hand for a long time now on Smackdown, but who is he? Does he have a in-ring background? Was he always a manager? What is the story with Teddy Long? Is some 70's/80's wrestler turned manager in his latter years? Also, he has been an amazing GM on Smackdown why have they never brought him over to Raw? Wouldn't he make a good and believable Raw GM?
Teddy Long actually started as a referee for Jim Crockett Promotions in the NWA in the mid-1980s and became a heel manager for WCW in mid-1989. He was involved in WCW for many years behind the scenes and on camera before moving over to WWE. He never wrestled professionally to the best of my knowledge. As far as why he's never been brought to Raw, it's simply a creative decision to keep him as part of the Smackdown roster.
Is it just me or is it time for WWE to drop the "greaser" thing with Deuce and Domino? They seem somewhat talented in the ring and I could see them doing the same type of shtick but updated, I think it would get over better. What would it take, in your mind, to get them over with the thought that their in-ring ability is ready for a big push?
I don't know if it's time for them to drop the gimmick. The gimmick has pretty much defined them and was one of the reasons they were brought to the main roster to begin with. If you have a gimmick that fits the persona of the talents, it's not wise to change it too quickly.
Lipstick & Dynamite was a good tip of the hat to women in wrestling. They finally got their story told. How about someone make a movie/DVD on the midgets? They haven't
gotten their dues yet.
It's an interesting idea, but to the best of my knowledge, no one has done a documentary on that subject yet.
What are the chances of Sylvester Terkay winning the Smackdown title? Also I haven't seen him on Smackdown the past two weeks what gives?
Terkay was released by WWE last year.
