PWINSIDER Q&A: TNA LIVE, JERICHO RETURNING, ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER IN ECW AND MORE

Has there been any interest of TNA into signing former ECW/WWE superstar Sandman?

I haven't heard anything about TNA having interest, but if Sandman is free of any no-compete clauses, it is something the company may want to consider.  His cult popularity hasn't been hurt by his WWE run, and he could be booked into an interesting role in the Raven "comeback" storyline (that is, if TNA is going to continue with that storyline).

Do you see the possibility someday of TNA putting on a live show on Spike within two years time similar to WWE's Raw? Instead of working out of Universal Studios, TNA could do a live show in cities such as Jacksonville, downtown Orlando or even Miami, Florida.

It all depends on ratings.  If TNA starts to take off, they might decide to go with a live show.  However, it is a lot cheaper to produce a taped show, so I would suggest that TNA not do a live TV show "just for the sake of doing it live".

Is legendary female wrestler Debbie Combs still wrestling today?

I believe the 58-year-old Combs is retired.  Other than a "Legends" match here or there, I don't believe she has wrestled regularly in some time.

I've been reading for some time the impending return of Chris Jericho to the WWE. Is he coming back? Has he officially signed on to do so? If he hasn't, what is the likelihood of Jericho being Sting's partner at TNA's Genesis?

Yes, he is coming back, and it will be with WWE.  He will not be Sting's partner at Genesis.

Did Abdullah the Butcher ever have a match in ECW, and if not, was there ever an attempt by the organization to bring him in? It seems like they would have been a match made in heaven…

Abduallah The Butcher wrestled three matches for ECW back in 1993, teaming with Kevin Sullivan against Terry Funk & Stan Hansen at Ultra Clash '93, then wrestling Sullivan twice in singles matches, including a cage match.
