If you mean will it affect whether there will be WWE or TNA TV shows, no it won't. The writing teams for both companies are not members of the writers union so they won't be affected either way by a strike. However, NBC Universal has said that they may bring up some of their programming from their cable outlets (USA, Bravo and Sci Fi) to the main network if the strike happens and runs for a long time. Whether that would include putting Raw on NBC I can't say.
Do you feel that TNA's product suffers from lack of house shows? I know this lack of travel is attractive to a lot of the older, established stars, and most of the younger guys have successful indy careers outside of TNA, but still - would house shows result in a more polished product?
The one area I could see it helping the overall product would be in allowing guys that are in programs to work more together and gain experience with each other for their bouts. But I don't think it is a major issue in any way.
Now that Booker and Sharmell are released from the WWE, what do you think will happen to the episode of Family Feud, that was taped in August, and supposed to air in November?
I think it will air as planned. There isn't much they can do about it now. Feud needs to air their shows and the ones that they have with Booker and Sharmell are what they have taped.
Why isn't Jeff Hardy given more opportunities to main event shows? He seems to be great on the mic, is a great in ring worker, and is completely over with the fans...so why doesn't creative, Stephanie, John Laurinaitis, Vince, etc. give him more of an opportunity to display his talent?
First off, the decision on how he is or isn't used is Vince and Stephanie's alone. Laurinaitis has nothing to do with it. As I type this on Sunday before the PPV, one major reason that they haven't put Hardy in the top spot until now is due to Hardy himself. He has had backstage issues in the past that has made the company leery of hitching their wagon to him. He also recently served a suspension, which has worked against him as well since it doesn't breed confidence in having a guy lead your brand. At this point, if he wants a top push it's up to him to convince Vince and Steph that he deserves to have it. I hope that he can do so because I think it would bring something fresh to the product to give him a run at the top.
I recently read that Sting's TNA contract might be up soon. What chances do you think that Vince would sign him? I would love too see it, even if it is a one year thing like Goldberg.
I don't think the chances are very good. Sting has had the chance to sign with WWE for years now and has never pulled the trigger on it. I can't see him, at this point in his career with all of the money he has made, wanting to go on the road full time with WWE anyway. I would say that the chances of him signing with WWE are 10%, at best.
