I have a couple of questions about the unfortunate fall that Candace Michelle took on Raw Monday night. Do you think the fall was an legit accident or was either Candace or Beth Phoenix responsible? Did Candace make a miscalculation of some sort on the ropes or did Beth Phoenix hit the ropes too soon or was it just one of those bad things that happen sometimes? Also, after the fall, you could very clearly hear the referee tell Beth to "pull her out and cover her" and as he knelt down to make the count say "this is it" a couple of times, so you knew Candace was really hurt. And finally, if a wrestler caused an injury to another wrestler or themselves because of carelessness of any sort, what would the consequences be?
I watched the footage of the bump a number of times before answering this, and my belief is that it was simply a miscalculation. If anything, WWE probably erred by putting the two into a Best of Three Falls match, where Michelle particularly may not have been ready for it. Still, in the end, it was an accident, just like Phoenix accidentally breaking her jaw during her first run on Raw. Wrestling isn't ballet, it's a contact sport and mistakes happen. If someone was hurt because of carelessness, there would be heat on them, but I don't believe that to be the case here, although Phoenix never should have touched her again once she slipped and fell.
Has there ever been a time in wrestling that compares to today when it comes to 2nd or 3rd generation stars scattered all over the roster. I mean between the WWE brands and under contract in general you have such families as the Rhodes, Harts, Orton, Colon, Guerrero, Mysterio, Snuka, Neidhart, Von Erich, DiBiase and I believe Umaga is related to Afa. It is amazing how many of them have are apart of the WWE currently.
No, this is actually the most packed singular roster I can ever remember and it is really, really impressive.
That would be pretty awesome, but I don't see it. You can however go have a few drinks at Margaritaville at Universal's Citiwalk that weekend in Orlando!
Do the Announcers in the WWE come up with their own jokes used during their commentary? Does Creative slip in an occasional joke now and than?
Absolutely. The announcers have to think of their feet, but at times, they are given messages of what to say over their headsets by those producing them backstage.
I know it isn't the most intelligent of questions, but it is a query of mine. I'm wondering which promotion came up with the name, since they mean the same thing, just one is more "edgier". I think that "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn was named before Beefcake used the persona of The Bootyman, but who really came up with the "Buttman" name first, Ass and Booty respectfully?
Brutus Beefcake worked as the Bootyman first...and I can't believe I actually looked that up.
