On a recent TNA Impact! Kevin Nash power bombed Kurt Angle. What is the possibility of Nash perhaps facing Angle in a match sometime down the road?
Given TNA's current path, and the plans I have been hearing, I would say there is a good chance you might see that very match. At the very least, you will see Kevin Nash back in action.
Whilst watching the Candice Michelle Vs Beth Phoenix in 2 out of 3 falls on Raw (10/22/07) for the Women's Championshi , it got me thinking. Seeing as though the title can't change hands on a DQ, what if Beth Phoenix got DQ'd for 1 of the falls? Would the match end there and then and she would retain the title? As I can't remember any 2 out of 3 matches that haven't involved DQ's for the title, (i.e. Hart Foundation Vs Demolition) can you give me an answer. I know this probably wouldn't be booked as to cause confusion, and the writers probably couldn't figure it out, so what's your view?
If there is a DQ, then the match continues, but the title will not change hands. At least, that is what happened back in 1987 during an edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. The British Bulldogs defeated then-champions The Hart Foundation. In the first fall, the Harts were disqualified. In the second fall, Dynamite Kid pinned Jim Neidhart, so the Bulldogs won the match in two straight falls. However, because the first fall was a DQ, and titles cannot change hands on a DQ, the Bulldogs got the win, but not the belts.
After watching Raw last night, I still think the saveus222 needs more build, but I also know that WWE really needs Jericho asap. I think that at Cyber Sunday, they should play the video package again and then at the end say something like "second coming tomorrow night". Then have Jericho debut right at the 10 o'clock hour on Raw the next night. What do you think?
I would agree with you that given the current state of the roster, plus the low ratings, it makes sense to get Jericho on TV sooner, rather than later. Also, while I appreciate WWE saving returns for PPV events, it might not be a bad idea to pop a Raw rating by doing Jericho's return on USA.
The 10/12 edition of PWinsider Xtra, someone mentioned Canton. Ric Flair mentioned it too during Roddy Piper's induction ceremony. What exactly is Canton ?
It was in reference to Canton, Ohio, home of the Football Hall Of Fame.
Where have we seen Abyss before he was Abyss?
He wrestled as Prince Justice and Eric Justice on the indy scene, but never achieved any kind of national fame until his TNA run.
