I've heard from less reputable sources, that Sting, after winning the TNA title, is going to head over to WWE. Any truth to this, or is it just crap.
Sting has quietly intimated that he's interested in retiring in 2008, so I don't think he has any interest in working for WWE. It's always possible, but one of his main concerns was the amount of travel involved and at his age, it wasn't something he wanted to do.
With Booker T now officially out of the WWE, what superstars are still left that came over in the WCW buyout? Torrie Wilson, Ric Flair…
Well, technically, neither Torrie Wilson or Ric Flair came with the buyout. Wilson was hired by WWE after they purchased WCW. She had been gone from WCW before it died. Flair was hired by WWE after his WCW contract expired. Of the performers who were with WCW at the time it was acquired by WCW, only Gregory Helms, Shannon Moore, Chavo Guerrero and Chuck Palumbo. Of those four, it should be noted that Moore and Palumbo were released and later re-hired, so the final holdovers from WCW who have remained WWE performers without fail are Guerrero and Helms.
Could you please tell me if you know whether any more matches are planned for Cyber Sunday 2007? I'm happy with what we've got, but there are a few others stars I wouldn't mind seeing on the card.
As of right now, the announced card is all that is scheduled to be presented. WWE will have additional talent on hand in case of plans changing, however.
I've noticed that Jeff Hardy has received some of the biggest pops since his return. I know that he's not a great interview, but he does move a lot of merchandise and is popular with different demographic groups. Now that Cena is injured, what are the chances that the WWE will pull the trigger and crown him the champion?
There's always a possibility as Hardy gets the crowd behind him, but I really don't see WWE management ever pulling the trigger to give him a long run in a World title situation. I think there would be concern about his past problems and while he sells a ton of merchandise (during his TNA run, I believe he was the top seller there), I don't think Hardy translates into a larger than life top-tier character in the same vein as a John Cena or Triple H. I can see a short run, however and think that like Mick Foley, he deserves it as something of a "lifetime achievement" award.
Is Krissy Vaine under the 90 day no compete clause even though she appeared on Smackdown only once?
I believe she was still under the terms of her developmental contract, so she's likely free to go wherever she would like.
