If ECW ends at the end of the year, I'm sure that the remaining wrestlers will be spread out over Raw and Smackdown. But, what will happen to Joey Styles and Tazz?
Good question. Obviously, WWE doesn't need three sets of announcers for two television shows, so one play-by-play man and one color commentator will have to go, unless WWE decides to keep them all and have some announcers do Internet-Only shows or other projects. If WWE decides to let go of some announcers, then they will either wait until the end of their contract, or work out a deal to buy out the remainder of their contract immediately and let them go.
In your opinion, which three wrestling events you've attended were the most fun for you?
Off the top of my head, I would say the first Hardcore Homecoming event in Philadelphia on June 10, 2005, the Momoe Nakanishi retirement show from January 7, 2005 at Korakuen Hall and probably every single ECW show I ever went to at the Elk's Lodge (aka Madhouse Of Extreme) in Queens, New York.
What is the update on Time Warner getting 24/7? This has become ridiculous. 24/7 has been available now for 3 years and Time Warner subscribers are yet to see a minute of it. I'm sure like me, most of the customers have written both WWE and Time Warner and still nothing. What is the problem here?
Time Warner sucks. Sorry, that's about the only conclusion I can come to, as a Time Warner subscriber myself. I can say it isn't WWE's fault, as they have been trying to get on the system.
Is Booker T free to go to TNA or does he have to wait out 90 days? I think both parties have something to offer each other. I know Booker wanted his new promotion to be a WWE developmental ground. TNA does not have a developmental ground. Perhaps they could help each other out?
From what I understand, Booker will be free and clear as of October 27th. I definitely think Booker and TNA will end up working together at some point, and if TNA wanted to work out a deal to use Booker's territory as a developmental area, an agreement could be reached.
I have read that finally WWE is releasing new DVD's (HBK, Cena, Rey, Austin and World Class) before the end of the year. Any word on WWE releasing a list of 2008 titles? I remember reading about a Curt Hennig DVD and a Summer Slam Anthology, what is going on with those?
I don't have a list of 2008 releases, but I can tell you that WWE was working on a Curt Hennig DVD (interviews were done for it), but the project has apparently been shelved for the time being. This is just me guessing, but I imagine WWE didn't want to put out a DVD about a wrestler who tragically died due to drug use while we are still seeing the fallout of the Benoit tragedy. As for the Summer Slam anthology, it is in the works.
