I noticed on TNA's website that Karen Angle's picture was on the roster of TNA's superstars. Because of her fast becoming an accepted character with the fans, did this lead to keeping her on TNA longer than they had originally planned? Any news as to how long her contract is for TNA?
There's no concrete news on how long Karen Angle is signed for, or even if she is signed to a deal. Since she's shown some aptitude for the promo aspect of the business, my guess is they will find a role for her as long as she wants one.
I read that Bonnie Hammer is asking WWE to bring back past stars from the Attitude era. If I remember correctly, back then, Shane had the best Q-Rating in the WWE. Shouldn't she be hound Vince to bring back "his son Shane"?
Actually, Shane McMahon was among the names that Bonnie Hammer has suggested WWE bring back on a regular basis to Raw to help bolster the ratings.
I have a question about Big John Studd. He won the 1989 Rumble and then he was the special guest referee for the Jake the Snake-Andre the Giant match at WM 5. He even got into with Andre during the match. After that he kid of just disappeared. Was there a push planned after his Rumble win? Was there another feud with Andre planned? Why did he disappear?
There was indeed a feud planned between Andre and Studd where they would switch roles from their famous 1985 feud, but Studd had a disagreement with WWF over pay and departed the company, never to return. He was later inducted into the company's Hall of Fame.
Hey I just saw a Q&A on Xtra and saw the question about the Rock and his surgery on his chest. Do you know the reason he did it?
Rock had the surgery for cosmetic reasons to look better and remove fatty tissue from around his pecs.
Has Playboy ever approached any of TNA's Knockouts such as Tracy Brooks or So Cal Val to pose for their magazine?
I've heard of Socal Val getting a Playboy offer in the past, but don't believe anything came of it. Leticia Cline is currently in a Playboy special edition, but beyond that, WWE and Playboy have a relationship, so I haven't heard of the magazine approaching females beyond their scope.
