PWINSIDER Q&A: ONE MORE RUN FOR FLAIR?, END OF THE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE? AND MORE

I know Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba are two of the biggest legends in Japan. However, when I hear about or see some of their most famous matches (especially Inoki) they are awful. So what do you consider to be their best matches, so a gaijin like me can truly see what made them legends, besides just their size and charisma?

For Antonio Inoki, I would check out his January 4, 1996 match with Vader, which was absolutely incredible.  I also think his matches in the 80's with Bob Backlund and Stan Hansen are worth checking out as well.  As for Giant Baba, I have to be honest, the only great matches I have seen him in were tag team bouts where it was more the efforts of the others that made the match to me.  His best work was probably the tag matches he had with Jumbo Tsuruta in the late 70's against the Funks, but again, Baba was the weakest worker in the match there.

For some reason the Smackdown superstars page is no longer displaying Hornswoggle, or anyone for that matter, as the cruiserweight champion. There is no mention of the title on the page. Hope WWE isn't trying to faze that title out, though it wouldn't surprise me.

WWE isn't getting rid of the Cruiserweight Title (at least not yet).  The belt is now vacant (and Hornswoggle is pretty much going to be a Raw regular now), but it is still being talked about on television, and I imagine at some point in the next few weeks, a new champion will be crowned.

I know everyone wants Chris Jericho to go into No Mercy and shock the wrestling world by winning the WWE Championship, but what do you think of the idea of Ric Flair coming into the title picture. Yea, he's old and on his last legs, but he's still Ric Flair and win, lose, or draw, this could be a good way to start the count to the end of his career.

While I know some disagree with me, I think there is still money in one more Ric Flair title chase, provided (and this is an important caveat), it is done right.  With ratings on the decline, it couldn't hurt to give Flair a chance.  Of course, WWE and Flair need to be on the same page first, and that isn't the case right now.

Would you know of any wrestler, male or female, besides wrestling, have another job or business on the side?

Sure, many wrestlers have other businesses or jobs.  Victoria owned a pizza place.  Rob Van Dam owned a comic book store.  Booker T has a wrestling school.  JBL works as a financial analyst. Not every wrestler has a secondary source of income or a business, but many do.

With recent injuries to WWE wrestlers, will the WWE be forced to bring wrestlers from Florida Championship Wrestling and OVW sooner than they normally do before they are judged to be ready?

No, I don't see that happening.  It is more a case of WWE needing to push the talent they have and that are ready, rather than throwing someone who isn't prepared for the "big time" into the mix.  If anything, the rash of injuries should "create opportunity" for wrestlers, if WWE allows it.
