PWINSIDER Q&A: KENNEDY INJURING OPPONENTS, WHAT TO DO WITH CENA, SURVIVOR SERIES SCREWJOB ANNIVERSARY AND MORE

I have a Question about John Cena, Bobby Lashley, & Mr. Kennedy. Didn't both John & Bobby get injured in matches against Mr. Kennedy? Also, isn't their injuries similar in nature? If it is, is there the smallest chance these injuries was not an accident? Don't get me wrong. I hope to hell nobody would intentionally injure somebody, but is it possible? Both John & Bobby were in more Main Events at the time than Mr. Kennedy, but with them out of the way it leaves room for Mr. Kennedy to get to the Main Event.

First of all, Lashley's injury against Kennedy was a work.  Lashley was injured at Backlash during a match against Umaga and the McMahons.  Also, Lashley suffered a rotator cuff injury, while Cena suffered a pectoral injury.  On top of that, even if Kennedy intentionally "sandbagged" on Cena's hiptoss attempt, there is no way Kennedy (or anyone) could expect that to result in an injury.  All that could have been expected was for the move to be botched.  Finally, Kennedy is a heel, so taking out babyfaces wouldn't have gotten him any closer to a main event, unless he was going to be made a babyface.

If you were in charge of WWE booking, would you keep Cena completely off  of TV while he recovers to give others more exposure, or would you  prefer to have him there to act as a mentor or manager to give someone else a rub?

I would definitely keep him off television.  I would much rather keep Cena off, and when the time is right, slowly build up to his return.  To have him as a regular presence on television would only lessen the impact of when he finally gets back in the ring.

Since John Cena is such an important WWE-worker and THE man the last 12+ month, why didn't Vince McMahon make some kind of ceremony for Cena to forfeit the WWE title? Even Edge did it.

One simple reason is because they wanted Cena to have surgery as soon as possible so he could get on the road to recovery.  The "surrendering the title" promos by Edge and Batista never seemed like much more than time fillers in the past anyway.

Can't wait for Survivor Series this year!!! Do you know if WWE will be playing up 97 screwjob anniversary? I find it strange that they aren't building to it now considering it is a major part of WWE history right? But, they wouldn't really want to point that out would they?

I am not expecting them to play it up, however, with Vince McMahon now back full-time as a heel character on television, it wouldn't shock me if they mention it either.

The last two PPV have featured HHH in matches that had basically no storyline build at all. I know his match against Booker T was based on the "king" name, and his bout at No Mercy against Umaga is supposedly a revenge match of sorts for Umaga (according to the WWE web site), but neither of these storylines were played up at all. It's as if creative thinks people will buy the PPV to see H, regardless of his opponent. Is there a reason HHH is apparently exempt from the storyline rule, and do you expect his "program" with Umaga to be a one-and-done?

While I see your point about the Booker match, there is a history with Umaga-HHH, since HHH laid him out with a sledgehammer a few weeks ago.  Also, the Umaga match is part of a larger storyline that HHH is involved in, that being his feud with Mr. McMahon.  I would hope Triple H's match with Umaga isn't "one-and-done", simply because it would be a waste of what could be a good rivalry.
