PWINSIDER Q&A: THE PATRIOT, WHATEVER HAPPENED TO PETEY WILLIAMS, UNDERTAKER'S SARA TATTOO & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2007-10-14 09:00:20

Is there an explanation as to why The Undertaker's 'SARA' tattoo has been photoshopped from all pictures in the new WWE magazine, yet he still has the tattoo in person?

The company has opted to remove it.  We don't go into personal situations, so take that for what you will.

What were the plans for the Patriot as he was supposed to be at Survivor Series 97 but was replaced with Steve Blackman.  Was he supposed to come back or only brought in for a little run vs. the Hart Foundation in the whole America vs. Canada feud?

There were never any plans for Patriot Del Wilkes to return as he had suffered a bad triceps tear and was unable to physically return to the ring without suffering continued injuries.  With the exception of some small charity shows last year, I don't believe Wilkes has done any wrestling since that era.

It was reported on a recent Smackdown, after the conclusion of the ladies match between Torrie Wilson and Victoria, Torrie was subsequently attacked by a young blonde woman. I never read if anybody identified Torrie's attacker. I watched the match and the young lady in question was none other than Krissy Vaine. Is this going to be the beginning of a Krissy Vaine-Torrie Wilson feud? I most certainly hope so.

As you've seen on Smackdown, Vaine is now part of the Smackdown roster, so your hopes have been realized.

Do they still sell WWF In Your House Canadian Stampede PPV or is that the only WWF/WWE PPV not sold commercially?

The In Your House Canadian Stampede was released via VHS in 1997 but has never, to this date, been released on DVD as a full event.  If you are looking to purchase it, your best bet is to try Ebay or another second hand video dealer.

What happened to Petey Williams' push? He (and the Canadian Destroyer) was just starting to really get over as a baby face when he was inexplicably taken off television for months. What happened there?

TNA creative happened.  I've asked around and it's simply a case where there just hasn't been a storyline for Williams in recent months.  Unfortunately, the company has greatly overlooked the majority of their X-Division talents over the last year, both in push and in presentation, so we'll see if that changes now that the company has caught the "golden carrot" of a two hour weekly series.
