PWINSIDER Q&A: LONG FEUDS, WHEN RAW GOT GOOD, UFC RATINGS, REY MISTERIO AND MORE

Hi guys when people talk the longest feud in WWE. I was thinking who would you say had the longest feud in all of wrestling? I was thinking maybe Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks (which many wont know about) but many say Flair and Harley Race or Steamboat.

It depends on whether or not you include feuds that had "breaks" in them.  Jerry Lawler vs. Bill Dundee, the Freebirds vs. Von Erichs, Bruiser Brody vs. Abdullah The Butcher are all feuds that went on for years, albeit with little breaks.

I have been watching Raw and Nitro on WWE 24/7 recently and I was wondering when do you think Raw became a better show than Nitro? Although I am a little bias in that I never really liked Nitro as a whole show, I would say that as soon as Raw went two hours the show was better than Nitro. Nitro still had good some good matches featuring Jericho and Malenko and the Sting angle was pretty cool but the nWo was already getting kind of stale. Add to that such featured matches as Steve McMichael and Jeff Jarrett vs. Scott Gomez and Renegade and Nitro had some really dull moments. By the time the Hart Foundation took over I believe that Raw was far superior, again I am bias being Canadian. Just wondering your thoughts.

I wouldn't rip on Nitro too badly for the lesser matches, as it does prove difficult to fill up three hours without throwing in some filler bouts.  As for when WWE turned the corner, I agree with you.  I think the Austin face turn/Bret heel turn at Wrestlemania 13 was the beginning of the tide turning for the company.

I've noticed that you cover the UFC ratings on the main site, but you only cover UFC fights/events on the Extra site. I remember it being stated a while back that PWInsiderElite was a wrestling site, but the extra version was for all that extra stuff. Just wondering, why the discrepancy?

Honestly, we just include the UFC ratings on PWInsider.com because a lot of readers are interested in how the numbers compare to TNA, which is also on SpikeTV.  So, while whatever MMA coverage we have goes on Xtra, we put the ratings on PWInsider.com for that reason.

How long is Ashley Massaro's deal with WWE. It seems like she is getting built up for her Survivor deal by WWE. Would an unfavorable appearance on the show (she's the weakest on the show right now) and a quick exit from Survivor lead to her getting her release?

I'm not sure how much time is left on her WWE deal, but remember (despite what Ashley says in interviews), it was WWE that sent her to do Survivor, and even if she is eliminated early, WWE certainly isn't going to release someone that might bring a bit of Survivor's massive audience over to watch her on WWE programming.

Was it really Rey Misterio (father of Rey Mysterio jr.), who was playing in "El Mascarado Massacre - WrestleManiac"???

Yes, it is Rey Mysterio, but he is the uncle, not the father, of the WWE star.
