If I am not mistaken Mark Henry has been in WWE for 10 years, so when exactly did he make his debut?
If you mean when did he do his first WWE TV appearance, that would be at a Raw taping on March 11, 1996 when he gave Jerry Lawler a press slam. If you mean an actual WWE match, that would be September 21, 1996, when Henry defeated Jerry Lawler on a house show in Baltimore, Maryland that served as a "live rehearsal" for their match the next night at the In Your House: Mind Games PPV.
If it was to rain on the day of Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando, Florida next year, what kind of structure will be set up to cover the ring? Will it be enough to prevent the wind from blowing the rain onto the wrestlers during their matches?
I would guess, and at this point it is just a guess, that WWE will have a lighting rig set up on scaffolding over the ring, and that some type of cover will be set up over the lighting rig to protect the wrestlers and immediate ringside area from rain. Obviously, if a hurricane comes blowing in, WWE will just have to deal with the rain, but if it is just a light rain, I imagine they will be fine. It's a risk you take when holding a show outdoors, and obviously it is one WWE is willing to take.
So I've been praying for Chris Jericho to return to wrestling since.. well since he left, but these days it really feels like it might happen. In any event I was just reading his Wikipedia page (I know, not the best source for reliable info) and it said that he has been in close contact with the WWE since the beginning of the month and has been offered a "huge" contract and he will most likely return in October. Please, PLEASE!! Tell me this is the truth! And please, please, please tell me, if he were to return, that he won't be treated like HHH's or Cena's bitch like he always has been in the past.
While there have been a lot of rumblings about Chris Jericho returning to the ring, I would not count on Wikipedia's claims of a "huge contract" (although I would hope Jericho realizes he shouldn't come back without one) and an October return. I also would love to see Jericho return to the ring, whether it is for TNA or WWE, but I wouldn't put any stock into something you only see on Wikipedia.
Where exactly does TNA tape their Impact! wrestling shows? What days does this normally happen and at what time?
TNA tapes Impact at a Soundstage 21 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. They used to tape shows on Monday, but with the move to two hour episodes they will be taping on Mondays and Tuesdays, every other week. Doors to the events usually open around 6pm, and are free to Universal Park patrons and the public.
I read a review of Raw recently and it stated that the during the ladies match between Mickie James and Beth Phoenix there was silence. The fans who were there were not into the match. Why not? These are two incredible wrestlers. Beautiful but good at what they do in the ring. Any reason why the fans never cared for it? Did something happen prior to the match that might have affected the fans to disregard the match? If that was the case, maybe the WWE should have their women's matches first. They deserve better than that.
I think it had a lot more to do with the way the characters are being presented, than it was the talent level of the performers. Mickie James is currently being presented as nothing more than a background player, while until this past week, Beth Phoenix wasn't being presented as anything more than another heel. Fans just aren't going to react to a match involving two people that are not being presented as important to them. Right now, Candice Michelle and Phoenix (following Unforgiven) are to only two Raw Divas that are being pushed as "mattering" to the fans.
