PWINSIDER Q&A: BRYAN DANIELSON'S RETURN, AWESOME KONG, CHRISTMAS AND MORE

How is ROH's Bryan Danielson doing since the injury to his eye? What is the prognosis? Has he had surgery on the eye yet?

Danielson had surgery, and was expected to be out anywhere from 4-6 weeks. However, pending his doctor visit this week, he is going to return to the ring this weekend to face Takeshi Morishima for the ROH Title, only three weeks after being sidelined.  Apparently, if his doctor clears him, and he is expected to, he will be right back in the thick of things.  Given the severity of his injury, I'm not sure if Danielson is incredibly brave, incredibly stupid or a bit of both. 

With TNA now going two hours in October have they given any indication who they would like to sign before then? What are the chances of TNA signing more women wrestlers to rival or even surpass the WWE womens division?

I have not heard any definite names to be brought in, but there has to be more female talent coming in, since TNA plans to have a Women's division and championship now.  You can't realistically have a women's division with only four women, so more have to come in. 

Are you familiar with a woman from Japan by the name of Awesome Kong? She is incredible. Great size. Moves with remarkable agility for a woman her size. Any chance TNA might try and sign her since they are going two hours in October? She'd be wonderful to build a womens division around. Samoa Joe for the mens division. Awesome Kong for the womens division. In my opinion, she is definitely a female Samoa Joe. What do you think?

I am very well aware of Amazing Kong, and think she would be a great addition to a TNA women's division.  She actually debuted in Japan in a steel cage match, immediately working with the best female wrestlers in the world.  While she didn't have the training or skill, she was a quick learner and able to hang with them as a power-based wrestler. I think she'd be a great addition to TNA and could be a monster heel for the women's division. 

In three months it will be December. Right before Christmas, are some of the second and third level wrestlers, male and female, for the WWE, TNA and ROH allowed to go home early to be with their families since they are currently not being used leaving the more established stars to finish the remaining tour dates?

Not sure what you mean by "second and third" level wrestlers.  Wrestlers are either used, or not.  Main eventers, mid-carders and opening match wrestlers work when they are on the road, or they are home.  There's no going on the road and not working.  As for WWE, their wrestlers will all be off from December 18th until December 28th.  I don't believe TNA is doing a taping Christmas week, and I'm not sure what ROH's schedule will be at this point.

Ok, I want to throw out a fantasy booking angle for the McMahon son angle. I think Hornswoggle as Vince's son is an angle that can be funny but doesn't do what the angle was intended to do. How about Kennedy comes back from his suspension and finds out that Hornswoggle actually interfered with the DNA testing (Hey its WWE) and he really is the son. Kennedy can join in on the humor an expand his character while trying to get his proof. When he finally does he has a quick feud with Finlay and then moves forward to get his initial intended rub to the top. Should I keep my day job?

You should keep it, only because WWE writers will resent you having a good idea that makes sense and will cost them their jobs, so they will try to convince Stephanie to fire you first.  Seriously, your idea is fine, and I actually would like to see a Finlay vs. Kennedy run at some point.
