I just wanted to say that I am a fan of Kevin Thorne. Granted he can use a little work but his character could be a real player in ECW. He is big and has a great look. He could be a real monster I think. If they would play up the fight-clubs/gothic angles he can be completely believable at main event levels in my opinion. What do you guys think?
I think Thorne has improved in the ring, but I don't know if he could handle a main event level push. Also, I feel his character is going to always be seen as either "too cartoonish" or a "second rate Undertaker". Taker casts a huge shadow for anyone who tries a demonic/vampire/gothic gimmick to try and escape from.
Is Rick Steiner wrestling permanently in TNA or is he there for a little while to get over the feud with Team 3D?
Rick Steiner is now working regularly for TNA, and I imagine he will continue to do so until the decision is made for Scott Steiner to go back to full-time singles work.
I heard that JBL is interested in returning to the ring for some more shots. I was just thinking about who should be his opponent if he does make a return and then this thought came in mind. His JBL character was created when he turned on Ron Simmons and decided to work alone when Ron was fired. With both Ron Simmons and JBL associated with WWE right now and neither of them have wrestled in a long time. Why not make a match between two of them. They can continue the same storyline that JBL turned on his best buddy and all. I believe that this match is definitely a Wrestlemania match and can draw some buys. Would you like to comment on that.
While I did hear rumblings that JBL was considering a return to the ring prior to Wrestlemania, it has been months since I have heard anything like that. Also, JBL looks like he is enjoying life (and food) a lot lately, and doesn't appear to be in training for a return. If he did come back, I suppose they could do a match with Ron Simmons, but given that angle took place so long ago, I think there would be a bigger pop for a one night APA reunion.
My question is how come Kurt Angle didn't bring his wife to WWE years ago, she is a good actor and valet?
While I think Karen Angle is attractive, and a better actress than anyone could have expected, I wonder why he has brought her to TNA now. It's not like there isn't a rather well-documented history of the wrestling business ruining marriages when both members of a couple are involved in the industry. There are exceptions (Jimmy Garvin & Precious) but not many.
Why has "beer bashing" been missing from Sandman's entrance since he moved to Raw?
I haven't heard this for certain, but I have a strong feeling it has to do with Steve Austin's occasional appearances and the fact that WWE likes to have only one beer drinking gimmick right now.
