The 82nd edition of JG’s Radio Free Insanity is on the air and available right now at WorldWrestlingInsanity.com (Flash and MP3 download) This week's guest is four time WWE Tag Team Champion Sylvain Grenier.

James Guttman begins things by talking about this week's show.  It's going up on "Summerslam" Sunday..  Today's guest is one of the quickest ones to join the show following a WWE release.  Sylvain Grenier left World Wrestling Entertainment on August 13th and within two weeks, he was on ClubWWI.com to discuss all of that and much more.  Grenier's career with the company included time in La Résistance, but also as Sylvain the Supermodel and The Ambassador of Quebec.  He is one of those performers that so many people have heard about, but not from.  Between rumors about his personal life to rumors about his professional life, many think they know all about him.  However, this is the chance for many to finally get the story of Grenier from the man himself.

Sylvain Grenier's full interview on ClubWWI.com lasted for 52 minutes and included talk of His WWE Release, Fighting With Agents, Being "Born With Heat", His Relationship With Pat Patterson, Bitter Has-Beens, The Model Gimmick, The Ambassador Gimmick, Who Came Up With It, What Stephanie McMahon Told Him Prior To His Release, Not Being Used On TV, The End of La Resistance, La Resistance In The South Park Movie, Why He Doesn't Read The Internet, Eric Bischoff, The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, Rick Martel, Growing Up As a Fan, The Problem With Rene Dupree, Traveling With Rob Conway, Why He Couldn't "Play Gay" On TV, Going To Smackdown, Maryse, Taking Entertainment Out Of Wrestling, Heading To TNA, How To Book La Resistance, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Stone Cold, The Wrestling Monopoly, and much more.

Sylvain is just one of over 80 stars on the Club.  Among the other interviews available on ClubWWI.com are Sid Vicious, Eric Bischoff, Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, John Heidenreich, Christian Cage, Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page, Rob Conway, The Steiner Brothers, AJ Styles, Demolition, Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, Ted DiBiase, Road Warrior Animal, The Iron Sheik, Rhino, Tito Santana, Earl Hebner, Charlie Haas, Christy Hemme, Chris Daniels, and many more. Plus audio shows from D-Lo Brown, Bull Buchanan, Lisa "Ivory" Moretti, Kevin Kelly, Orlando Jordan, and Dr. Tom Prichard

James Guttman then speaks about the WWE return of Triple H and how he can be useful on Raw.  He also gives out the details on how Independent Promoters can book La Resistance.  Just send an email to: ResistanceWWE@hotmail.com  for Rob Conway and Sylvain as a team or, for just Sylvain, you can email SylvanWWE@hotmail.com.  With that, JG cues up the interview.

James welcomes Sylvain Grenier to the show and the first subject they discuss is his WWE release.  Grenier speaks about dealing with the some of the politics backstage and talks about how hard it was to deal with at times.  Some of the most frustrating moments occurred when the agents would tell him to not do a dropkick or another move because someone else was doing it.  To him, it took away from the entertainment value of the show.  His release came about because of a situation like that:

"From talent relations and the agents, the communication was just not right.  I got into an argument with one of the agents and that was pretty much it.  And I was very sick of it and I made some phone calls the week before I was released.  I asked some advice from some of my friends who quit or got released and asked what my option was because I never worked the Indy scene before.  I was not happy in what I was doing and I know I have a lot to bring to this business but maybe I did it the wrong way or I didn't listen right.  But maybe I need to get away for a while and do something else.  Do my own thing.  Do the Indy Scene.  Have fun.  Love wrestling again.  Because I love wrestling.  I love this job.  It's just the backstage scene.  I'm not a political guy.  I can not deal with politics backstage."

James then brings up his friendship with Pat Patterson and how fans may see it as a plus, but it could work to his disadvantage due to "haters" trying to hold him back.  Grenier agrees.  He's friends with Pat and sees him as a mentor.  Even though he's not on the WWE roster, he's still a respected name who has done a lot in the industry.  Sylvain says that's something that's missing in today's wrestling.  WWE hasn't entertained and changed with the times.  Grenier concedes that he might not know as much as some people backstage, but as a fan, he knows what is and isn't entertaining to him.

James Guttman closes the interview out by giving Grenier a chance to speak to his fans.  He asks Guttman if he means his mother because he rarely got cheered.  He tells fans they'll have a chance to see him on the Indy scene in the next few months and he's looking forward to it.  Anyone interested in booking him can do so by emailing SylvanWWE@hotmail.com or for Rob Conway and Sylvan as a team, you can email ResistanceWWE@hotmail.com.  He calls it the "La Resistance World Tour."  James then asks if Grenier ever saw the South Park movie and mentions that "La Résistance" was in it.  Sylvain says, "You're kidding me."  He asks who they were and JG gives him the plot of the movie.

James then closes the show by telling people to email if they want to book "La Résistance…the tag tem, not the South Park kids."  Sylvain laughs and thanks him for having him on the show.

After the interview ends, James reminds listeners that D-Lo Brown's new Lo-Down show went up on ClubWWI.com this past week and includes talk of his WWE dark matches at last week's tapings.  He also says that Orlando Jordan's audio show "Club OJ" comes back this week as well along with a new uncut shoot.
