CNN.com has a long article on former WWE star Chris Nowinski and his life after wrestling at this link. I cannot stress enough the good Nowinski has done for athletes not just in the business, but in every aspect of the sports world. The sad irony is that it took a terrible injury to inspire Nowinski, while the company he worked for while suffering that injury, WWE, does nothing publicly to assist that cause.
Joe Raich, the former co-owner of a Florida's Palm Beach Rejuvenation plead guilty today to fourth-degree conspiracy in the ongoing steroid distribution case against the company. Raich agreed to five years probation and will pay $200,000 under a plea deal that also requires him to testify against four other defendants caught by Albany, New York investigators. A number of professional wrestlers and other athletes are reported by Sports Illustrated to have received steroids and HGH from Palm Beach Rejuvenation
