Is it true that Shawn Michaels trained both Paul London and Brian Kendrick? If so do you think when HBK returns he should also have an on air role of mentoring them playing off of real life?
Yes, both London and Kendrick were products of the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy, a school run by Michaels and Rudy Boy Gonzalez. I don't see Michaels playing an on-air mentor for them when he returns though.
Since Smackdown got screwed out of the draft and Raw is so mega packed right now why didn't they move Mr. Kennedy back to Smackdown when they found out he was going to miss a couple of weeks instead of months like they thought he was. Since the plan was for him to win the belt anyway they could have made him a surprise entrant and he could have won the title there, then feuding with the big time faces like Kane, Batista, and even better, Matt Hardy?
I agree, Kennedy to Smackdown seems like a logical move, especially if they aren't going to be using him in the main event mix on Raw (which as of right now, they aren't). However, Raw always comes first in WWE, so for whatever reason, they have put him there in a mid-card role for now.
With all the injuries to their top wrestlers, Edge being the latest one, are there any wrestlers in developmental that were going to be brought up maybe a year from now that are getting brought up sooner to fill out the Smackdown roster?
I've heard no plans to bring up anyone up from developmental to Smackdown that wasn't already being brought up, like Jesse and Festus. It would seem to make sense to bring up some more talent, but only if WWE feels they are ready. Bringing someone up too soon only to have them fail does neither the brand nor the wrestler any good.
I was wondering if Vince McMahon Sr. ever appeared on camera for any event? It seems that in DVD releases (McMahon & Families In Wrestling) they only have stills of him.
I don't believe so. I can't recall ever seeing any footage of Vince Sr. on a television show. Remember, it was a different era then, when owners tended to stay behind the scenes, not book themselves onto the television shows. Plus, Vince wasn't a former wrestler (like Verne Gagne or Fritz Von Erich) or an announcer (like Paul Boesch) so he never had a reason to be on camera in the first place.
How long is this King Booker demands to be the only king thing going to last? He claims that he is the rightful king because he won King Of The Ring in 2006, and that Jerry Lawler and HHH aren't kings. HHH is as much of a king as he is, he won KOTR in 1997. Do you think this might be a good feud? And do you think they might drag in more kings?
My guess it will last until Triple H is done giving him the Pedigree. I think it could be a good feud if WWE booked them evenly, but in all honesty, Booker is just being set up as the first victim on Triple H's comeback tour. I also don't see them dragging in any other King's for the program.
