PWINSIDER Q&A: ULTIMATE WARRIOR, TRIPLE H RETURNING, FIVE BELTS IN TNA AND MORE

What was the big deal about the Ultimate Warrior? I remember him always running toward the ring like a train on fire. When he got in the ring, he would violently shake the top rope, huffing and puffing like a train whistle. I could see him trying to get every breath back in him. As a wrestler? He was no Bruno Sammartino. Who is? Anyway, what was the big deal? He was different? Today, am I wrong or does it seem that Warrior has a great ego? Explain it to me.

To answer your last question first, yes Warrior has an ego.  A huge ego.  As for the "big deal" about him, it was all about his intensity.  The Ultimate Warrior was sort of like the Road Warriors but everything was faster.  The Road Warriors would hit the ring and beat up opponents.  Warrior would run top speed to the ring, beat up an opponent and never stop moving.  He was unique for the time, and fans got caught up in the intensity and unique persona.  Over time though, Warrior never seemed to connect with the audience the way Hulk Hogan was able to.  That lack of charisma really hurt him in the long run, in my opinion.  Warrior, for lack of a better term, was a "one trick pony" that never showed any growth or development.

What is the planned timeline for HHH return?

As of right now, it is expected that Triple H will return on the Madison Square Garden edition of Raw next month, with his first PPV match back being at Summerslam.

I know that it is too early to predict but what do you think are the planned matches for Wrestlemania 24?

That's really hard to say, especially given the way the injury bug has bitten WWE lately.  You have to figure that Triple H and John Cena will figure prominently in whatever the main events are, and Ken Kennedy, Bobby Lashley, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Edge will also be in the top mix.

In a recent TNA show Samoa Joe took Kurt Angles' titles and there was 5 belts total. I know that Joe is the X-division champ and the tag team champ and Kurt is the world champion but by my math that is only 4 titles what was the 5th title shown in Kurt possession. This is the 7-19 show on SpikeTV.

The other belt is the version of the IWGP (International Wrestling Grand Prix) title that Kurt Angle recently won from Brock Lesnar in Japan.  However, it should be noted that the version Angle is carrying around is NOT the New Japan IWGP Title, currently held by Yuji Nagata.

I have a question about "The Wildcat" Chris Harris. Lately, he has been impressing me a lot especially with his performance at the King of the Mountain match and his feud with James Storm. However, his character as a singles star is not developed yet like his old partner James Storm is. Do you feel that Harris should have a more edgy character or should he just be the babyface that he is right now? He has proven that he is great in the ring, but what would you do to build his character more?

I think Harris is fine as a babyface, but I think he would benefit from being focused on winning the TNA World Title as opposed to just fighting other heels with no real direction at times.
