You have remarked that Vince McMahon seemed to have aged over the last 10 years. I have heard he doesn't take vacations. Does it seem to you that he needs to take one? To get away from all the pressures of running the company. Maybe to recharge his batteries, so to speak. What do you think?
I absolutely think Vince needs to take a break from it all. If you look at another famous workaholic, Walt Disney, there is an interesting comparison to be made. Like Vince, Walt felt the need to be "hands on" and deeply involved in all aspects of his business. However, when the war took an adverse affect on his business, he suffered a nervous breakdown in 1931. Walt took a long vacation with his wife, and when he returned, had his greatest success. I think Vince taking some time off would do wonders for him and his company.
I don't normally watch Smackdown, so I had not seen William Regal in a while, but when he came out on Raw on Monday he looked a lot younger than he used to. Did he get a facelift or something?
No facelift, although he did have his lip repaired after it was ripped open during a house show.
Is Steve Blackman still an active wrestler anywhere?
Nope, Blackman has been retired for several years now.
What in your opinion is the greatest PPV of all time?
My personal favorites are ECW Heatwave 1998 and WWF Wrestlemania III. I also like Wrestlemania X and Royal Rumble 1992, but those are essentially shows with two great matches that overshadowed a rather weak card. However, for a top to bottom strong PPV, I would go with the 1989 Great American Bash, which still holds up pretty well today.
If something happened and TNA came up for sale, do you think Vince McMahon would jump on it and buy it?
Absolutely, especially if the price was right. Vince would eliminate the closest thing WWE has to real competition, and would get another video library to use.
