PWINSIDER Q&A: ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER'S HOUSE OF RIBS & CHINESE FOOD, WHY RAW IS LIVE AND SMACKDOWN IS TAPED AND MORE

Are the WWE wrestlers permitted to run their own websites?

Wrestlers are permitted to have their own websites, however, it is in the best interest of the wrestler to make sure their website doesn't tick off anyone in WWE management.

I was watching some old Undertaker matches, and was wondering how they do the Buried Alive match. Is there a trap door under on the side where they can crawl through? And how did they make Takers hand pop out of the ground that he had with Mankind, was it mechanic?

Yes, there's a trap door in the side that allows the wrestler to roll out before the mounds of dirt are dumped in the hole.  As for the Undertaker trick, if you watch carefully, you'll notice that where the hand pops out is nowhere near where the burial was done.  It was a separate compartment where someone with an Undertaker glove was able to stick his hand up through a layer of dirt.

Who were the holders of the WCW Women's Title?

The WCW Women's World Heavyweight Title was established in November-December 1996 with a tournament to crown the first champion held over several weeks.  Here are the results of the tournament:
First Round:
- Madusa defeated Reina Jabuki.
- Zero (Chigusa Nagoya) defeated Malia Hosaka.
- Kaoru defeated Sonoka Kato.
- Akiro Hokuto defeated Meiko Satomura.
Semifinals:
- Madusa defeated Zero.
- Akiro Hokuto defeated Kaoru.
Finals:
- Akiro Hokuto defeated Madusa.

Hokuto never lost the title, and retired on April 7, 2002, although the title, obviously, was abandoned long before that.  Essentially, once Madusa lost a loser-must-retire match to Hokuto, the belt didn't figure into WCW's plans anymore.

Why is it that Raw is live and Smackdown is taped?

Due to the costs of producing a television show, it is cost efficient for WWE to send out their production and television crew and have them work two nights in a row, rather than having them go out two separate times during the week to put together a live show. So, Raw is done on Monday, Smackdown on Tuesday, then the TV crew isn't put to work again until the following Monday (or Sunday for a PPV).

Do you know where Abdullah the Butcher's restaurant is?

Abdullah The Butcher's House Of Ribs & Chinese Food is located on 2387 Fairburn Road in Atlanta, Georgia.  They are open every day of the week but Sunday.   More often than not, Abdullah himself will be there, and if the restaurant isn't too busy, he will take the time to talk and take pictures.  I recommend the ribs and the fried okra.
