I'm a teacher in Florida, so I'm on vacation right now. With my free time I've watched the Ladder Match DVD, the Brian Pillman DVD, Four Horsemen DVD, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, and Jake Roberts DVDs. I began to wonder...................NFL, NBA, and even MLB all require their talent to spend time watching film and studying the team they will be going up against. Why has the WWE never done this? Wouldn't it make sense for the WWE (as a company, not just McMahon) to use Wednesdays (as an example) to sit the performers down and go over tapes maybe even get some ring time with the vets like Flair, HBK, Taker, HHH to really perfect their skill. Isn't it a responsibility of the WWE as a company to train these performers to be the best? Think of this schedule.
Weight lifting until 10am. 10:30am - 11:30am "How to work the mic" with Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes. 12pm - 1pm "Ring technique" with Chris Benoit and HHH. 1pm - 3pm group workout and ring work. 3pm - 4pm "Life after the ring: Investing correctly" Vince and JBL. 4pm - 5pm "Getting over with the crowd" with Dreamer and Taker.
Wouldn't doing that once a week or even once a month really bring the talent and excitement on the shows to a whole new level? Would it be cost effective to institute a program like that?
Personally, I love the idea. Having "training camps" once every month or two would be a great way to help shape the new talent and get them to improve. The problem, of course, is that you're adding another day on the road to all of their schedules, and I don't see too many wrestlers wanting to give up another day. Remember, often times wrestlers are working Friday-Monday or Saturday-Tuesday, and only have three days off (part of which is spent traveling home). I definitely think WWE could afford it financially, but I don't know how interested the wrestlers would be in taking part in it.
Why has Nitro been drafted to ECW? He's one of the best looking and gifted wresters in the WWE? He reminds me of a Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair bundle and yet hes being shoved down the card? Has he upset Vince or is he paying his dues?
Maybe he was moved because WWE might actually use him now. In the last two months, Nitro has hardly been used at Raw, and it looked like his future was teaming with Kenny Dykstra and doing jobs. On ECW, he's arguably one of the top five stars right off the bat. I definitely think him moving to ECW is the best thing for his career, as he will actually have the opportunity to display his skills and show he deserves a top spot in the company.
Why do you think WWE has taken such a direct shot at Hulk Hogan with the Jillian Hall skits? Isn't that a bit too much too far?
I think Vince McMahon was frustrated at Hogan not being more realistic with his demands (in Vince's view), so he is taking a potshot at him. It's hardly the first time WWE has taken shots at former talent that is no longer with the company. Is bringing Brooke into the picture going too far? Perhaps, but some would argue that once Hogan brought his family into the public limelight, they became fair game.
While I know it is the first time this set of championship belts from have all been defended on one PPV is the honestly the first time that "All WWE's" championships have been defended in one night?
It all depends on how you look at the question. Is it the first time since they started using the "WWE" name? Sure. However, if you go back to the WWF days, there were plenty of shows with all three (World, Intercontinental Tag Team) titles being defended, or all four (World, Intercontinental, Tag Team, Women's) belts on the line.
Are there Urban Myths about multiple La Parkas similar to Kane, Undertaker, and Ultimate Warrior?
No urban myths, it is pretty well known that there are two different La Parkas (LA Park is the original) working the gimmick in Mexico.
