Do you agree? Bryan Danielson is better right now in the world than Kurt Angle EVER was. That is my god's honest opinion. Danielson is probably the finest wrestler in the world and his technical ability is just through the roof, I believe he's far better than Angle ever was. In fact, I'm such a Danielson-mark, that I've contemplated whether he's better than Benoit in his prime. Do you agree?
Is Bryan Danielson a better professional wrestler than Kurt Angle in a technical sense? I would say yes. However, I feel Angle has a much larger "presence" in the ring than Danielson has at this point in his career. Angle picked up on the "sports entertainment" aspects very easily, so I would give him an edge there. As for Danielson being compared to Benoit in his prime, I would go with Benoit, but I wouldn't argue with those who prefer Danielson. Again, we're talking purely in-ring ability and technical skill here.
Why is that WWE now refers to the Hardy Boyz as the Hardy's? One has to think they did it to make them sound more grown up but I always wondered where copyrights came in, with the Hardy Boys book series.
It has nothing to do with copyrights, from what I understand, although I guess it is possible there might be a problem with some merchandising aspects. I think they just prefer to call them the Hardys.
Why is it that Team 3D couldn't be called the Dudly's in TNA, without the e? Remember Taz became Tazz to avoid a lawsuit from Warner Brothers.
WWE wasn't being threatened with a lawsuit from Warner Brothers when they added the "z" to Tazz, it was just a preemptive move so there wouldn't be potential problems in the future. In the case of Team 3D, if they tried to use Dudleys "without the e", then WWE could easily point out that TNA was deviously trying to use their intellectual property.
What is Ray Gordy's name going to be on Smackdown and do you think since his dad's all time best friend is booking the show (Michael Hayes) that he may be overly pushed?
For now, his ring name is going to be Jesse Dalton. I don't think he's going to be overly pushed, and if you look at where he is being positioned right now (in a tag team, and was bumped off last week's Smackdown due to time issues) he certainly isn't being treated as some sort of "new superstar".
If you could make a dream card in which you could book any wrestlers from any era in any matches you wanted for a one night even what would your dream card be? I thought of so many dream matches but narrowed it down to these 12:
Steve Austin (1998) vs. Bill Goldberg (1998)
"Team NWO" Hollywood Hogan, The Giant, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash (1996) vs. "Team 4 Horsemen" Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, Arn & Ole Anderson (1986) vs. "Team DX" Triple H, X Pac, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn (1998) in a War Games style cage match
Bret Hart (1997) vs. Shawn Michaels (1997) in a "Loser admits fault for Montreal" match in which Vince McMahon is banned from the building
Sting (1994) vs. The Undertaker (1997)
Kurt Angle (2001) vs. Owen Hart (1994) *Submission Match*
Jimmy Snuka (1983) vs. Rob Van Dam (1999) *Ladder Match*
The Rock (2000) vs. Randy Savage (1988)
Brian Pillman (1997) vs. Roddy Piper (1985) *First blood match*
John Cena (2007) vs. Samoa Joe (2007) (Come on this would be great because it's the internet "smart" fans golden boy vs. their most hated enemy)
Chris Benoit & Dean Malenko (1999) vs. "The British Bulldogs" Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith (1987) *Elimination match*
The Road Warriors (1990) vs. Buh Buh Ray & D Von Dudley (1998) *Tables match*
Cactus Jack vs. Sandman vs. Raven vs. Terry Funk vs. Sabu vs. Tommy Dreamer hardcore*
Okay, I'll jump in the time machine and come up with a card:
- Bruiser Brody (1985) vs. Cactus Jack (1995)
- Dynamite Kid (1983) vs. Chris Benoit (2004)
- Sabu (1994) vs. The Undertaker (1997)
