You likely won't be able to answer this question directly (or name names) for obvious reasons, but it can't hurt to try. Is it an unwritten standard procedure now for WWE Divas to get breast implants? It just seems like most Divas have "the shape" suspect with unnatural breasts. This also begs the question that if this is in fact the case, isn't it dangerous to bop around a wrestling ring with implants?
I think it's fair to say that every lady who becomes a diva has eyes and sees what her peers look like. Management is smart enough to not tell the girls to get the implants because that could open them up to a lawsuit, but the girls have eyes, just like we do. Rarely, a Stacy Keibler will come along that says "I don't want them" but if someone else feels a way, they better have a super marketable asset like Stacy did if they want to get pushed.
Yes, implants do burst at times. They are not meant to take a pounding and occasionally when they do, the women have to get replacements when they break.
I had a question about the TNA/NWA split. What will TNA do with the NWA Title belt? They obviously can't use the belt they have now, do you think that they would make the switch a part of a storyline, or just switch and hope nobody asks questions? Also, when do you think they would switch the belt, before or after the split is finalized?
As I type this on 4/25, it has not decided that I know of but what everyone expects to happen is that one week, there will be a new belt and a "TNA" champion. It's not expected to be a major storyline thing. It's just expected to happen and then everyone will move on as TNA champs.
Here's a question that's been bothering me...In cases such as this week's ECW where Bobby Lashley appeared in the cage match AND on SmackDown, when Vince McMahon brought him out he mentioned the cage match on ECW and then they showed the video package before he came out. My question is, how does something like that work out in the arena? And do the SmackDown announcers talk about ECW before it happens at ringside in front of the fans behind them, or do they voice over the parts where they mention ECW results later in the studio?
It depends. Some weeks, ECW happens before Smackdown so the announcers talk about what they, and the crowd, already know happened. In the case of ECW airing live after the Smackdown taping in the building, the announcers know what WILL happen so when they call the broadcast to tape at the building, they can just make reference to it there since the crowd doesn't hear them. If there is a problem, there is always the Wednesday night Smackdown voiceover section where the announcers go in and fix anything that needs editing from the live calling of the show.
Just curious if you feel that the ambush of Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes on Raw by Umaga is a slap in the face of their legacy and a total lack of respect. Also do you see them doing anything worthy with Ric Flair. He is still one of the best promo people in the business if creative could get past his age.
No, I have no problem with older guys being used to put over younger guys (Piper and Rhodes didn't either). It's a great way to get heat on a young heel and it's how the business has worked for years. It is also really a tribute to the older star.
As for Flair, what can you really do with an almost sixty year old man (not named the owner)? Flair is one of my all time favorites, probably my all time favorite, but he's older now and it's just not believable for him to beat up younger, bigger, stronger guys (just as Hulk Hogan shouldn't be doing it either). He should be used as a legend that wrestles occasionally. It's believable that he could pull "one more great match out of this body" every three or four months, but when they do it every week it just is too much for the rational mind to accept.
What do you think of the possibility of Rosie O'Donnell herself appearing from the crowd to take part in the Vince McMahon-Donald Trump bout at Wrestlemania 23?
I think it would be vile and disgusting if it had happened, simply because it would have meant that I would have had to look at her and not been able to turn the channel when she came on, which is what I always do in my house when she soils my TV screen. Rosie is one of the few people on this earth that can me actually root for Donald Trump, and that is saying a lot. I find her obnoxious and deplorable.
