PWINSIDER Q&A: ROMA-HORSEMEN, DEEP SOUTH TALENT, ECW ORIGINALS VS. NEW BREED AND MORE

In regards to this whole WWE/Memphis fiasco, I can understand WWE pulling their own talent from the event, but why did they want the entire event shut down? Was this just pure vindictiveness against Hogan, or is WWE worried that Hogan might actually be able to get his legends tour started?

Just my opinion, but I don't think WWE fears Hogan doing the "legends tour" at all.  I think this is Vince McMahon being vindictive and wanting to screw with Hogan for not "playing ball" in regards to Wrestlemania.

So this might be a stupid question but I have to know about the Paul Roma interview on the 4 Horsemen DVD. Did he really talk trash about Ric Flair and Arn Anderson? What, is he bitter that there is no best of the Young Stallions DVD out. Just curious

I don't think Roma is bitter, I think he just has an extremely high opinion of himself.  His story is that Flair and Arn were jealous of him because he was younger and had a better physique.  Roma also has obvious disdain for Flair's drinking and partying lifestyle, noting that he didn't get drunk and "pull his pants down" in a bar.  I think Roma was a decent wrestler in his day, but the idea that Ric Flair or Arn Anderson was jealous of him just because he had a better body is pretty ridiculous.

I have always read where a wrestler's ultimate dream was to someday make it to the WWE. When that someone does, male or female, has there ever been a sense of regret? To your knowledge, has anyone regretted joining the WWE? That its not all its cracked up to be?

Absolutely.  There's been plenty of cases where a wrestler has "made it" to WWE, only to find out they preferred working on the independent scene, or in Japan, or in another company.  Sometimes it is a case where the wrestler isn't being used, and they feel their talents are being wasted.  Other times, it is that financially they could be doing better working independent/overseas shows without the grind of the weekly WWE schedule.

With the WWE ending its involvement with Deep South Wrestling, and with DSW shutting down operations completely, what becomes of Krissy Vaine, Nattie Neidhart, Angel Williams, Nikita and the rest of the women's division? Are they still under contract with the WWE? Will they be sent to OVW?

All DSW talent that was under contract to WWE remains under contract to the company.  Some of them will be assigned to OVW, some will be put with a new developmental territory, and maybe if we're lucky, some of them will actually be called up to the main roster.

Do you see WWE maybe having a war games type match between the New Breed and the Originals whenever they decide to end the feud? I don't think they should hold in a steel cage, but maybe in the "old" hell in the cell or the eliminator chamber what do you think?

A cage match between the sides might be a cool idea in the future, but I actually think WWE can get some more mileage out of the feud before having a "final battle".
