I am from Memphis and was very angry to hear that the Lawler-Hogan match was canceled because of stupid business politics. So my question is this: What's the best way for Memphis fans to riot? Maybe not buy a ticket when Unforgiven comes in September?
Honestly, I don't recommend rioting. I will say that one way to show your displeasure towards WWE is to not support their event by purchasing a ticket for it. However, that is your choice. Actually, you could use that money to go to the Hogan-Wight match instead.
Now that "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig has rightfully been enshrined into the WWE Hall of Fame, despite the controversy surrounding his untimely death, do you think it's now time to induct arguably the first diva of the federation "Miss Elizabeth" Hulette? While not an active in-ring performer, nor a Playboy centerfold model (although she certainly could have been one), she was "the" starlet for the company long before "diva" became a regularly used term. Your thoughts on this please, and thank you.
I do think that Hennig's induction has "broken the ice" when it comes to performers who have passed away under circumstances that could be seen as controversial. Certainly, Miss Elizabeth is worthy of a place in the Hall Of Fame. I'm not sure who would accept the honor, I believe she has a brother, and the topic of who would induct her would certainly spark discussion, but there is no doubt that she belongs in the WWE Hall Of Fame as much as anyone.
With CM Punk joining the New Breed what do think of the idea to have Punk later turn on the New Breed and start his own faction. He could get Colt Cabana and Ace Steel and maybe another OVW or DSW talent to join him and thus have a battle of three factions. Punk could say he is not a follower but a leader and he is going to bring in his Indy friends to show everyone they are the next big thing. Then ECW could have a tournament with each faction wrestling the other five times to see which faction is the best. Maybe Punk can even get ROH guys and tie them into the matches as a way to cross brand and get ROH followers to watch ECW.
I honestly don't see WWE doing that, especially not with the ECW brand. Way too much thought would have to go into it, and WWE Creative doesn't seem to want to do that with the Tuesday night product. I do like the idea of Punk turning on the New Breed down the road and starting his own faction. A "turf war" feud with warring factions is something WWE tried once before, but I think it could work if booked properly.
Who did Shelton Benjamin tick off? He has to be the most underused and underutilized talent in the WWE (even more than Super Crazy).
I wish I knew. He is young and is easily one of the most gifted performers they have. He isn't a great promo, but did show some improvement in that department, and now he and Charlie Haas seem to be enhancement talent for the slowly reemerging tag team division on Raw. It is a waste of talent, as Benjamin has the tools to be a major star down the line.
What are the chances of any of the following making it into the hall of fame------Davey Boy Smith, Dynamite Kid, The Brooklyn Brawler, The Honky Tonk Man, and Rick Rude?
All of them have a chance. I think Brooklyn Brawler, being a WWE employee, has the best chance of getting in. Honky Tonk Man, due to his attitude, might be waiting the longest. The fact that Rick Rude and the Bulldogs aren't in the Hall already is a bit ridiculous, in my opinion. I could see Smith going in soon though, since his son is with the company.
