PWINSIDER Q&A: UNDERTAKER'S TATTOO, BATISTA HAVING 'X-PAC HEAT' AND MORE

I was just wondering, what's the latest about Randy Orton's backstage reputation? I know last year wasn't his best in that area but ever since he was put in that "attitude rehab" last year I haven't read anything bad about him. What do you know on this?

Honestly, things have gotten quiet on the Randy Orton front.  Maybe it is the result of his time off, or perhaps it is just a case of him finally maturing as he gets closer to 27, but Orton's name doesn't seem to pop up as much when you hear about troublemakers.  Of course, that doesn't mean he's truly changed, but he is at least making an effort to not tick off the wrong people.

Am I the only one, but I just really cannot stand Batista. His whole gimmick is "I look like a badass and am all jacked up". Nothing at all makes me want to see him on my TV. I think I would even go as far as saying that he has XPac Heat with me.

You're not alone, but you are still in the minority at this point.  He still gets a big pop for his entrance, and is still being pushed as a top star.  However, the "boring" chants during his matches can't be denied, and it appears, in my opinion, that he just isn't trying as hard to improve and grow as he was two years ago.  Whether it is because he got traded to Smackdown (after making numerous comments about it being an inferior brand) or because Triple H is no longer pushing (or carrying) him, I don't know, but he certainly isn't working as hard as the World Champion should be.

While watching Smackdown, I noticed some letters tattooed on the Undertaker, I think it read B S K..... do you know what it means?

According to Percy Pringle, who was Undertaker's longtime manager as Paul Bearer, the tattoo stands for "Bone Street Krewe" which was apparently the nickname for the group Taker traveled with.  People have claimed it means "Brotherhood Of Solitary Knights" or "Back Stage Krew" (which is a hip-hop reference), but Undertaker himself has never commented on it publicly.

I noticed Sylvan Grenier and Renee Dupree have been removed from the ECW roster after being reunited just three or so weeks ago. What's the deal with these two?

It's the classic case of WWE creative not really having plans for either man, so one week it was decided to put them back together as La Resistance.  However, there are no tag titles in ECW, and there really was no potential programs for them there, so the idea was dropped and they are back in creative limbo.

I have some questions about Bob Backlund . I was born in 1981, so I haven't seen much of Backlund's original title run right before Hulkamania started, all I can remember off the top of my head is the clip of Skaaland throwing in the towel and giving up the title to the Iron Sheik. I'd like to hear your thoughts on his early title run and how he was as champion.

Early in his title reign, I think Backlund was a great champion.  He had some great matches with Superstar Graham, Jimmy Snuka and Peter Maivia and he carried on the tradition of WWF having a babyface champion that was constantly taking on the latest monster heel challenger.  Over time, his squeaky-clean persona seemed to wear out his welcome, and when he made the decision to shave his head, stop working out and wear an amateur wrestling singlet, he seemed to lose a lot of his appeal.
