While ready ‘This Day in History’ I noticed that in 1998 Raw had 7 matches and Nitro had 11. Combined they scored 8.7 in the ratings.
I don't know if more matches is the answer, but I think less talking would be nice. Far too often, it seems that promo segments go on forever, when they could get the same point across in a shorter period of time. I would also eliminate the "earlier tonight" and "moments ago" replays. They don't need to show an incident three or four times during a single show. That time could be devoted to having an additional match or two on the shows.
If Rob Van Dam goes to TNA, will he be able to keep his name or will it be another Dudley Boyz situation?
It could very well be. Rob Van Dam used his name long before joining WWE, and I have been told that he owns the right to his name. However, we've seen plenty of instances (like with the Dudleys), where it was believed they owned the name and it turns out WWE was able to fight them on it. Still, those close to the situation saw RVD has the rights to his ring name.
So is Kenny Dykstra supposed to be a take off of baseball great Lenny Dykstra? That was pretty much the first thought I had when they finally gave him the last name. I guess someone on WWE Creative is a baseball fan. Either that, or they just didn't like the name Doane.
What is the difference in the Continental organizations that Ron Fuller ran and the one that Jerry Jarrett ran?The Continental that Ron Fuller ran was based in Alabama and the territory revolved around there. The Jerry Jarrett Continental was just another name for the Memphis territory at one point.
What is the update on Time Warner Cable getting WWE 24/7?
Supposedly there are negotiations, and given how WWE has managed to break through on other major systems, most feel it is only a matter of time before they work it out for the On Demand service to be offered on Time Warner Cable platforms.
