PWINSIDER Q&A: DIXIE CARTER'S BACKGROUND, HEROES OF WORLD CLASS ON DVD, BRISCOE BROTHERS IN TNA, WSX VS. TNA AND MORE

Being a big fan of tag team wrestling and seeing how that TNA puts an emphasis on their own division how come the Briscoe Bros haven't gone down to work for TNA. I have not seen them personally but from everything I read about them they seem like they would be a lock to have good matches with Team 3-D, AMW and LAX.

I know that the Briscoes made some appearances for the company when they were running out of Nashville, TN, so it's likely just a situation where they either haven't tried to get in or the company, which is stacked with tag talent, hasn't had the right idea or opportunity for them. 

Do you think that MTV Wrestling Society X will become a higher priority then TNA since both are under the Viacom banner?

No, I think the two projects will remain separate entities and will get pushed on their own merits.  SpikeTV has been extremely happy with TNA of late, while MTV is hoping to use WSX as a way to pull more of a male demographic to the network.  I don't think we'll see Viacom pick one over the other, because they can benefit from both companies.

Is there any way to write WWE complaining about offensive material? It seems like every few weeks there is something really disgusting on the shows.

I recently saw a picture of NWA-TNA President Dixie Carter and she is smokin'. I've never heard of her until TNA started to become well known. What is her background? How did she become the head of TNA?

Carter ran a public relations firm that handled TNA when the company was first formed in the summer of 2002. When TNA lost their financial backers, Carter approached her father Bob, who heads up Panda Energy about backing TNA. The Carter family invested and became majority owners. Carter has been serving as President of the company ever since, helping to bring TNA to SpikeTV and a primetime national timeslot, among other achievements.  She personally pursued and signed Kurt Angle as well.

What's going to be on the double disc Heroes of World Class DVD that is coming out?

We don't have much in the way of details, but the "Director's Cut" version of the film released by Big Vision Entertainment will have a second disc of deleted scenes and interviews, among other extras.  I'm hopeful for a director's commentary, but I haven't heard that there will indeed be one.
