I remember back around when I was 17 or so that RAW started at 7:57 PM instead of the usual 8 pm as it does now. Would this be a move that WWE should try to do again in order to grab the attention of the casual viewer by a few minutes before MNF starts? It's absolutely a possibility, but the problem is that you can't counter program against a football game. If it's a blowout, there's a possibility you'll gain viewers who know that their team is going to win and/or they are tired of watching a non-competitive game. If it's a close game, football fans are always going to stick to football.
WWE, like any other entertainment company, is always going to go out of their way to market a performer or event to the best of their ability. This is no different. It is the first Cyber Sunday and it is the first "interpromotional" version of this PPV concept, therefore, they are pushing that to the moon. Another Wrestlemania question: There has been talk that the upcoming Wrestlemania will be Undertaker's last match and there has also been talk that he could likely face Kane in that last match. With Kane's recent move to SD and their upcoming tag match together, do you think that this could be the beginning of a build toward a match between the two at Wrestlemania? And as sort of a "what if?", do you think it's possible that we could see "Oldschool Kane" with the mask for nostalgic purposes in this match? Personally, I'd absolutely love to see him go back to that look and I think it does a lot more for his character than his current look and I see this as as good of an opportunity as any to do so. I have yet to hear that Wrestlemania will be Undertaker's swansong. I don't think they will go backwards with the Kane character, but it's always a possibility. A question was asked recently about the possibility of Brooke Hogan having a match alongside her father Hulk Hogan. Imagine: Hulk Hogan and daughter Brooke against Vince McMahon and his daughter Stephanie. What do you think? I think if Hulk thought it would help Brooke's musical career, you'd see it. Prior to Trish Stratus retirining from the WWE, it was reported that Lita was contemplating leaving as well. What is Lita's current status with the company? It's been reported that Lita would depart the company sometime after Survivor Series to concentrate on outside projects, including fronting a punk band. Whether that remains the case or if they will use that as a stipulation to explain her departure remains to be seen. If you enjoy PWInsider.com you can check out the AD-FREE PWInsider Elite section,
