We get a lot of questions to this section so they don't all get answered. We pick out ten a day to answer and we get upwards of 100 questions sent to us through this feature. Your question wasn't ignored, you just never were in the right queue when we were selecting new questions to answer. The best way to guarantee that your question will be answered is to join our Elite section. We have a section on there where we take questions only from our Elite members, so you are guaranteed to get an answer if you are a member. Even if it's obscure, we will do our best to answer it.
As for your question, my guess is it was a timing issue for the DVD.  That is sometimes the case with things getting cut off of DVDs. Another reason why things don't make the final cut are rights issues, whereas they only had to right to use music or a person's likeness for a limited time or in some cases only that day.
If WWE had made WCW its third brand, do you think it would have been more or less successful as the current ECW brand?
At this point, I don't think it would have been any more successful than ECW has been if they started it up back in June. WCW would have been dead for five years by the time they resuscitated it and most of its fans had long since left the business. Given their legitimate dislike for the WWF product back in the day, I don't think they would have come back to see WWE bastardize their product. Also, WWE has already used almost all of the past WCW stars, so there was no draw there either. At least with ECW, they had some original talent that they could bring back to work on the brand. That wouldn't have been the case with WCW.  It hurts me to say this, since I am an old ECW guy, but I think if WWE had made WCW a legitimate brand (with all of the WCW talent) back when they bought it however, WCW would have been more successful than ECW would have been back in 2001 since WCW had a larger following on TV at the time. He is paid by check, like all the other WWE workers. Seriously, he is paid on his downside, with bonuses where applicable. I don't know the specifics on his contract, but I heard he has a very modest downside number so WWE doesn't mind paying him for a short amount of work, pun not intended. While I always allow the possibility for almost anything in this goofy business, I think there is almost no chance that WWE would let Angle go to TNA to make them a stronger entity. For one thing, while Vince McMahon has said that WCW kicking the WWF's butt in the 90s lit a fire under him, it's not like he would want to have another company kick his butt again today. He didn't want WCW to do it then! He prefers to create his own "competition". TNA isn't close to being a competitor of his yet and he doesn't want to help them become one. On top of that, if the ratings from week one of Angle in TNA are any indicator, they would need more than just Kurt to become elevated to a true competitor. They didn't even hit a 1.0 for Angle's heavily hyped promo so there really isn't anything in it for Vince to elevate TNA. What was the angle, wrestler, event, or gimmick that got you hooked in to wrestling? As a kid in the late 80's - early 90's I will never forget the time the Undertaker locked the Ultimate Warrior in to an "air tight" coffin. I was just the opposite. Growing up in the Philadelphia market in the 70s, our only option was the plodding, big man matches that the old WWWF gave us. They bored me and I hated wrestling because of that until my late teens. Between that and the over-the-top stuff that the WWF did, I would have never become a fan if it weren't for the advent of cable TV. Once it came to my area, I was exposed to realistic, hard hitting action from places like Florida, Georgia, Texas, Mid South and even Japan, and I became a huge fan. I liked the realistic angles, the violence and the higher workrate matches. That hooked me. How is Little Bastard paid? I was wondering, because he has to travel to all shows and only appears for a few seconds to help Finlay in his matches.
With the release of Controversy Creates Cash, I started to wonder: What are the chances WWE and TNA are working together in regards to Kurt Angle?ÂÂÂÂÂ
