PWINSIDER Q&A: MARK HENRY, CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE, WHO COULD HAVE MADE AN IMPACT ON WRESTLING AND MORE

Would you be surprised if Mark Henry was released between now and when he's scheduled to comeback? On one hand, his last run was definitely his best, however, I think he's too much of a liability with his injuries that he seems to regularly get. Is WWE going to run the risk of having him make a comeback with pretty much the same gimmick he's been trying to get over since late 2003?

I don't know if I would be surprised at all.  After all, WWE has dropped people who were recuperating from injuries before (Test), newly married couples (Charlie Haas & Jackie Gayda) and pregnant women (Dawn Marie), so they've proven things like that don't matter.  I think WWE will give Henry another chance, since he was working hard before his most recent injury.  However, there is no way he is going to be kept at the same salary level he has had for the duration of his infamous ten-year multi-million dollar contract.

What exactly does WWE have in mind for Gregory Helms and the CW title? I mean, he rarely defends it on TV and hasn't really had a solid program since coming back to Smackdown in January. He just seems to pop up now and then to have a match on Smackdown. But with a feud with Matt Hardy developing are they finally going to give Helms a singles push with the heavyweights? And of course, he'd have to lose the CW belt if this was the case, so who do you think they'd have him drop it to? Thanks.

WWE's plans for the Cruiserweight Title is to ... well, there are none.  Helms is continuing his feud with Matt Hardy, and the Cruiserweight Title is basically something for him to use as a weapon once in a while.  There are no singles cruiserweights being set up as challengers, so for now, you'll pretty much have to get your cruiserweight fix by watching the tag division on Smackdown.

I was reading in the PWI Xtra Q&A today about a question regarding Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, and the Rock. In it, there was something mentioned about the Rock having no respect for HBK, dating back from when Rock was just starting. I was wondering what the reason was for his disliking of Michaels. I know that back in the day, Michaels' backstage attitude was seen as negative and figured it stemmed from that. But I wasn't sure.

Basically, Michaels has a big attitude, and had no problem pointing out which undercard wrestlers he felt "didn't have it".  During the Rock's early days in WWE in 1996, Michaels and Co. felt he would "never amount to anything", while Bret Hart pushed for Rock to be given a chance.  As a result, Rock reportedly has no desire to do Michaels any favors today, which is why he reportedly turned down a chance to work a program with Michaels a few years ago.

When Sylvester Terkay began wrestling as Predator in Japan, did he intentionally pattern his look after Bruiser Brody?

Absolutely.  The whole reason he was pushed in Japan was because he was a Brody imitator, right down to his boots, the chain he carried and his finishing moves.

This is a very broad one, but I'm curious to your responses. Who, if any wrestler, do you feel if not suffering career ending injuries or dying early would have made a huge impact on wrestling.

Easy answer.  Magnum T.A.  If not for his car accident in October of 1986, Magnum arguably could have been one of the biggest stars in the business.  He was good looking enough to appeal to women, but tough enough that male fans would support him.  He had charisma, knew how to brawl and wrestle, and was being groomed to be the NWA's answer to Hulk Hogan.
