Opens with a recap of last weeks Matt Capotelli vs. Seven match where Bane attacks Capotelli after the match and is run off by John Hennigan brandishing a bat.
Back in the arena, Bane makes his entrance w/ Seven and Synn, followed by Matt Cappotelli w/ John Hennigan (still carrying the bat). Back and forth match until Capotelli goes to the top tope, Bane bumps ref who hits ropes knocking Capotelli to the turnbuckle. Bane then goes after Capotelli's injured wrist. Finish comes when Synn reaches in and trips Capotelli. Hennigan chases Synn and Seven off with the bat as Capotelli hits a standing huracanrana on Bane for the pin.
Capotelli d. Bane. The ref has Capotelli's hand raised as Hennigan joins the celebration asking the ref to raise his hand as well.
They announce that because of the demand for more seats, the Feb. 7 Crusade Slamfest has been moved to the Davis Arena. (Personal Note: Tickets are $10 and the cause is a great one. If you are a wrestling fan in the Louisville area, see some great wrestling and help an even better cause)
Recap of last week's Standing Thunder/Nick Dinsmore Title match with the ensuing brawl between Inspector Impact/Dinsmore/Mark Magnus vs. Johnny Jeter/Standing Thunder/Matt Morgan.
Nick Dinsmore and Inspector Impact come to the ring for an interview. Dinsmore says he flew to see John Laurenitis this past weekend and was told that the tests were all a part of the process and that once he beats Billy Gunn at Slamfest he will prove himself. Impact says that in tonight's main event they will destroy Morgan and Jeter for causing him to have heat with Jim Ross. Cornette says that Laurenitis might have tests for Dinsmore, but Cornette also has a test for the OVW Champion. Next week, Dinsmore must defend the belt against Damaja (Danny Basham of WWE).
A taped promo from Damaja is shown. He claims that it is not Danny Basham that is coming back to OVW, but the Damaja. and once he defeats Dinsmore and wins the Title he will be making weekly appearances at the Davis Arena.
Next up, Standing Thunder vs. Mark Magnus w/ Nikita. Finish comes as Nikita passes brass knucks to Magnus who knocks out Standing Thunder for the pin. Cornette tells the ref to check Magnus' pocket for the knucks. Nikita begins to yell at Cornette while Magnus slides out and grabs Cornette for Nikita to slap him. Standing Thunder makes the save and Cornette chases Nikita a bit before getting in the ring. He challenges her to get in the ring right now as we go to break. No winner is announced.
Back from break Cornette is still in the ring and is joined by Dean Hill. Cornette runs down Magnus and Nikita. He says that if he does not knock Nikita out in their match at Slamfest, he will never step foot in the Davis Arena again.
A recap of Adrenaline and Alexis Laree challenging Nova, Idol and Trudy DeNucci to a 6-Person tag match at Slamfest airs before another break.
Back from break, Cornette tells of a grudge match at Slamfest between Passion and Jillian Hall. A taped promo from Passion airs. The promo was filmed right after her nose was broken by Hall in a match in December. A taped promo from Jillian Hall airs hyping the match.
Back to the ring and we are joined by Kenny Bolin and Bolin Services (Jerome Crony, Mondo, Morris and Nurse Lulu). Bolin tells us he has been on a worldwide talent search that even took him and Morris to California where they spent the night at Neverland Ranch. He says that the charges against Michael are false. He says it was a good night and Morris (Lamont from Smackdown) got to sleep in the "good bed." He then claims to have found some new talent - two of which he is introducing tonight. Out come Da Beast and Carlos Colon. Bolin says that Colon's father is paying him a lot of money to take his son all the way to WWE. Carlos says that what his Papi wants, his Papi gets. Bolin says that Papi threw in a little extra money for him to hire Da Beast as Colon's bodyguard. He says that Da Beast's client list is impressive and includes Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G. and JamMaster Jay.
Back from the last break and Johnny Jeter & Matt Morgan make it to the ring. Nick Dinsmore & Inspector Impact join them and it's on. Finish comes when all four men are brawling in the ring (Dinsmore vs. Jeter, Impact vs. Morgan) and Magnus comes out to ringside with a towel. He begins to spray the towel down and toss it to Impact who uses it on Morgan. Cornette tells us it is ether on the towel as Morgan falls to the mat. in the meantime Dinsmore gets the pin on Jeter. Magnus joins Dinsmore and Impact in the ring to celebrate. Cornette tells the ref what happened and demands that the decision be reversed, which it is. The trainer comes out to revive Morgan as we go off the air.
