British wrestling legend Jim Breaks, 80, a top flight heel in the European wrestling scene during the height of World of Sport's popularity, has been arrested for allegedly beating his wife, Donna, 47, to death in their home in Gran Canaria, one of the Canary Islands.
Breaks was taken into custody on suspicion of her murder but has not been charged as authorities are still finishing their investigation.
Breaks held the British Lightweight championship nine different times over the course of his career as well as a 5-time Middleweight Champion, working as a heel using the "Crybaby" nickname, throwing tantrums in the ring and arguing with the referee when things weren't going his way.
The arrest was reported this afternoon by The Daily Mail in Great Britain.
