They both climbed the ladder to get the belt and started slugging each other. Zig knocked Miz down, but the champion came back and used the ladder to work on Zig's left leg. Zig tried a superkick but instead Miz came back and dropped the leg across the ladder. He worked the log over and then did a Figure Four on the leg, using the ladder. Cool spot. Miz made great psycho faces wheil he was doing it. He broke the hold and then stomped on the leg while it was in the ladder.
Miz took advantage of Zig not being able to throw the Superkick due to his leg, and hit the SCF on a ladder. With Zig down, Miz climbed the ladder. He got the belt but Zig pushed the ladder. Miz hung on to the belt but couldn't get it. Zig hit him with the ladder and Miz sold his leg.
Both guys were down when Zig got up first. Miz was out on the floor selling the leg. Zig sold the leg as he went up the ladder. Miz came back in and stopped him.
With two ladders set up, each man climbed one. The hit the other one whenever he would go for the Title. Then Dolph threw punches and headbutts. Miz fell after a headbutt. Can Dolph make it up and get the belt. Nope, Miz came up and nailed him with nut shots.
Miz then grabbed the belt and kept his Title.
After the match Miz ripped on Bryan and called Ziggler a loser that should get a participation trophy.
Excellent match. They worked really hard and told a great story in the match. The only problem is that they sold it as Zig's last chance so I don't know where that leaves Dolph. I don't like how they brought him up so high, only to make him a loser again.
Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto in a Chairs match is up next. Kalisto used the chairs early on for an advantage. Corbin then came back and started abusing the luchador. JBL was selling that Corbin was abusing Kalisto for as long as he wanted to. Oh, that is scary. Kalisto tried to come back but Corbin got a two with a chokeslam. Corbin had a bunch of chairs and set them up in a block but Kalisto came back with his speed and drove Corbin head first into a chair in the corner. Kalisto went up to the top and drive Corbin into the chairs that he had set up, getting a two count.
Kalisto went for a tope on the floor but Corbin caught him and hit a Deep Six on the floor. Back in the ring, Corbin only got a two and weny nuts. He threw chairs around but Kalisto was on the floor. Corbn chased with a chair but Kalisto used his speed to get away. Kalisto his a ran off of the barricade and threw a chair at Corbin's head. He kicked him into the barricade. Back in the ring Kalisto put a chair on Corbin and hit a moonsault. Corbin kicked out at two. The work is solid here but again I have to question why a guy Corbin's size has so much trouble with a little guy.
Kalisto went to work on Corbin, pasting him with chairshots. Kalisto came off of the top rope but Corbin smashed him in the face with a chair. Corbin then hit the End Of Days on the pile of chairs to get the win.
Again, they worked hard and it was really good. I liked that Kalisto looked strong in the fight, but conversely it made Corbin look weak having so much trouble beating a little guy.
After the match he yelled at the announcers and said no one should get in his way. OK.
Natalya was asked if she attacked Nikki at Survivor Series. She ignored it and wished Becky Lynch good luck. Then she said that Carmella's accusations are absurd. She had better settle her tea kettle. Carmella is a liar, so she lies. Otunga didn't believe Natty.
Becky Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss for the Women's Title is next.
Becky is ticked and she is going right after Alexa but Bliss came right back. They went back and forth until Beck set a table up on the floor. Some freak yelled, "You have no soul Becky!" Dude, you have no clue. Anyway, they fought in the ring as to who would throw the other through the table. Alexa got control and went to work in the ring. Becky went to throw Bliss through the table so Alexa bit her. She went back to work on the champ.
Alexa went under the ring and got a table. Becky came out to try and stop her but Alexa through her into the post. Alexa put the table in the ring and kept beating on Becky. Alexa set up the table and then they fought over who would use it. They were pounding each other, working very stiff.
They fought hard for a while, trying to use the table on the other. Becky had her but Alexa moved the table. Then she hid a DDT on the champ, on the table. Becky fired up and propped the table over the bottom ropes in the corner. She put Alexa on the table. She went uo to the top but Alexa came back and kicked her in the head, then tossed her in the ring. Becky came back again thought and drop toeholded her on the table. They were fighting on the apron when Alexa took the opportunity to put Becky through the table on the floor, kind of out of nowhere.
Surprise finish, but a good one. Alexa worked her ass off here (as did Becky) so she showed herself to be worthy. I know a Rack Attack is probably waiting for her but I am going to enjoy this now, while it lasts. Alexa earned it. She kicked butt.
Becky was interviewed afterward and basically said now ain't the time. I am disappointed in myself.
The crowd wasn't overly into it, but it was good stuff. I enjoyed it.
