As noted yesterday on PWInsider.com, EVOLVE will be returning to the New York market this weekend with events on Saturday 9/10 in Deer Park, Long Island and 9/11 in Woodside, Queens. The Long Island show may end up being the last time EVOLVE runs that market as the advance is extremely low and if the promotion doesn't draw, they won't return to the market. If you are in the area and want EVOLVE in Long Island, showing up is your best way to insure that.
EC3 is done here and won't be returning due to TNA contractual commitments.
Ricochet aka Prince Puma in Lucha Underground, who was an early standout here and in DGUSA, will be back at least through December. He is booked for the 9/11 event in Queens, facing Zack Sabre Jr.
The theme of the weekend will be new faces coming in and being given a shot at standing out. Travis Gordon, Chuck O'Neil, David Starr and Dan Barry (as a singles talent) will all be getting a chance this weekend and the company is looking at additional faces they could be bringing in. One of those names is Jason Jincaid, who impressed company management at the last seminar/tryout and is being brought to shows in the near future.
There has been a lot of talk of Jeff Cobb, who works in Lucha Underground as Matanza Cueto, coming in. He wouldn't be Cueto if he came in.
The WWN Creative Seminar on Saturday received a larger response than expected. The company is woprking at making it a good opportunity as there are expansion plans for next year and they need more help. There won't be another one in 2016 so if people want to attend they need to go to this one visit www.DGUSA.tv and hit the Seminar/Tryout section for info.
