Newsday in New York featured a piece on The Taz Show's three hour live special that will air following Wrestlemania on CBS Radio affiliates across the country as well as at www.TazShow.com. For a pro wrestling radio broadcast, this is pretty much the biggest thing to come across the landscape in decades. As a matter of full disclosure, I appear every week on the Taz Show and will be appearing on the special.
Speaking of Wrestlemania weekend, Combat Zone Wrestling has firmed up their Wrestlemania weekend plans with the top matches announced for their Friday 4/2 event, which goes head to head with the WWE NXT Takeover card as well as ROH's Supercard of Honor. Titled "Welcome to Combat Zone", the show is being booked as an introductory primer for those who may not have seen the promotion before and will feature:
*CZW champion Matt Tremont vs. Masada: No Ropes Barbed Wire Match.
*Bull James (fka Dempsey) vs. Sami Callihan.
*AR Fox vs. Speedball Mike Bailey.
*The Nation of Intoxication vs. The Amazing Gulaks & Chuck Taylor.
*WSU champion Cherry Bomb vs. former TNA Knockout Jessicka Havok.

Dutch "Zeb Colter" Mantel will be signing at the 6/11 Legends of the Ring convention in Monroe, NJ. For details, visit www.LegendsoftheRing.com. Sting, The Powers of Pain, Candice Michelle and The Steiners are also scheduled. Former WWE star Jon Heidenrich will also be signing in what is one of the first appearances I've heard of him doing in years.
Demolition and Chyna are scheduled to be signing at the “Saints and Sinners” booth at Horrorhound in Cincinnati, Ohio this weekend, Friday through Sunday.
Billy Gunn and Sean Waltman will be signing at the Chiller Theatre convention next month in Parsipanny, NJ.
WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal is signing on 4/17 at the Wrestling Universe store in Flushing, Queens.
