For those of you all excited about WWE airing Raw in HD, you are going to have to wait a few more weeks it appears.  According to a source, the original plan was to indeed launch Raw in HD alongside the USA Network. The HD launch has since been pushed back several weeks and will likely begin the day after the Royal Rumble PPV in New York City, which will be the company's first HD PPV broadcast.

A new independent promotion named Second City Wrestling in Chicago is running its first show on 1/12 featuring former WWF stars Aaron The Idol Stevens, Rob Conway and Nick (Eugene) Dinsmore on top with a lot of former WWE developmental talents underneath including Seth Skyfire, Mike and Tracy Taylor, Chris Cage, Chris Michaels and even former ECW star Big Sal E. Graziano, who has to be doing the first independent show I've heard of him working in years.  The show is scheduled for the Don Preston Recreation Center in Midlothian, Illinois at 7 PM.  For more information, email secondcitywrestling@gmail.com. If anyone attends, feel free to send along a live report.
