6/15 WWE RAW BRAND RESULTS FROM LEXINGTON, KY

By Terri Bey on 2007-06-16 10:12:00

Here are the results of last night's house show at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY

Cryme Time beat the World's Greatest Tag Team.

It was a so so match. Nothing special

Val Venis beat some OVW wrestler whose name I didn't catch....I think his first name was Chad. Venis won with the Money Shot.

Another so so match.

Women's Title Match: Melina Beat Mickie James using the ropes.

This was the first decent match. Pretty good match. Crowd was behind Mickie.

Chuck Palumbo beat Carlito.

I hate Palumbo's biker gimmick. Taker did it better. Match was ok. Not great.

World Tag Team Title Match: Hardys Beat Cade and Murdoch via DQ but of course Cade and Murdoch keep the belts.

Fun match. Cade and Murdoch were visibly irritated by the crowd who were obviously behind the Hardys. Hardys were WAY over. One gal in the crowd had a "I love Jeff" sign in the front row and Cade just went nuts on her. Cut a little promo. Jeff grabbed the sign and flaunted it at the Tag Champs. Jeff then took a photo with the gal who had the sign.

I think Intermission came at this point then....

Maria comes out to shoot T shirts into the crowd and Eugene joins her. Then Maria is doing a dance and is dressed nicely etc. Ron Simmons comes out and says the magic catch phrase: "Damn!!!" I can't believe that they had Ron Simmons at a House show just to do this, but it must be nice being Ron Simmons. He gets a lot of mileage out of that.

IC Title Match: Santino Morella beat Snitsky in a "wonderful match." Of course, I am being sarcastic. Horrible match. Snitsky is a stiff. Did not like this one at all. Snitsky kicks Morella post match

Bobby Lashley beat Umaga in another "5 star classic." Yep, I am being sarcastic. This was horrible as well. Lashley should have gone back to Smackdown or stayed on ECW. Anyway, I didn't like the match.

WWE Championship Title Match:

John Cena beat Randy Orton with the FU. Good match. The best of the card. Randy Orton had the best move of the match and the best move of the whole card.....an awesome RKO out of nowhere. It was sweet! He attempted to cover, but Cena kicked out and then when both got to their feet, Cena got him with the FU and that is all she wrote. However, that RKO Orton gave Cena was outstanding.

Cena then gave a speech about the fans and his dad's birthday and such.

Show was ok. Not great. I only really liked the Cena/Orton match and the Ladies Match.

Arena was packed. Not sold out, but packed maybe 3/4 full. Pretty good sized crowd.

Before the show, I got a photo with Mickie James and got to shake Eugene's hand. I met Cryme Time and John Cena at a couple of autograph sessions. They were very cool.
