Samoa Joe apparently tweaked his knee last night during a tag match that was taped during the second episode of Impact yesterday in Orlando, Florida. There's no word on how serious it was yet, but he was looked over by TNA's medical staff in the ring after the match. As noted over the weekend, Joe continues to deal with some sciatic issues in his back as well. He is one hell of a performer to continue to put that level of quality matches on while hurting.
The Chicago Tribune covered the Major League Baseball brawl that took place during Turning Point today at this link featuring quotes from David Eckstein and AJ Pierzynski. A number of media outlets are expected to pick up the story, including ESPN for their Sportscenter show.
TNA will tape three episodes of Impact next Monday in Orlando as they want to get all the TV in the can before the holidays hit. We'll have a good idea of where they are going with Final Resolution on 1/14/07. We have spoilers for the next several episodes up on the main site now.
