RECAP OF CHRIS JERICHO'S XM RADIO SHOW

By Jeff Sheridan on 2006-10-26 06:00:00
1. Starts the show at 7:59PM with 2 Rush songs:  "Tom Sawyer" & "Red Barchetta".

2. Y2J says it's Sunday night & the train's left the rock station, says we came here to rock & are on our way to rockesity. He says we're barreling down the road & hitting 2 streets that I couldn't hear clearly & hit Rockwood, then says "Rockywood" & asks as to how many bad phrases he can you. He says this is XM 41 Da Boneyard: http://tinyurl.com/6hmt6 & The Rock Of Jericho: http://tinyurl.com/rssxe , says he's your hostess with the leastest Chris Jericho & he's happy to have you with him tonight. He says we kicked if off with the 1-2 punch of :"Tom Sawyer" & "Red Barchetta" from the "Moving Pictures" album. He asks as to why he played Rush this week other than that they're awesome, says he saw the "R30" DVD & asked if you've seen it yet. He says he knows that Rush's fell into the Ozzy/Maiden category of putting out a DVD live record after every tour & big show that they do, then says "Rush live in Peoria at the Civic Center" & "At the 55th birthday bash of Bartholomew L. Rigsby". He says this DVD's cool because it's a whole chronological review of Rush's 30 year career, says the thing about Rush's that you forget because they've been around so friggin long & asks:

A. How many great songs they have.

B. How amazing they are as players all across the board from Getty Lee's bass playing & vocals to his keyboard playing, to his vocals, keyboards & bass playing all at the same time.

Y2J says Alex Lifeson's the dad of all guitarists & says Neil Peart's Neil Peart, says everyone knows him & asks if it's pronounced "Pert" or "Peert" & asks as to how the f*** you pronounce his name. He says he pronounces it as "A-MUUUUUIIIIIIIAAAAAAZING". He says the band kicks it off with this cool overture that's a medley of a bunch of their songs from the past & mentions "Finding My Way", "Anthem", "Passage To Bangkok" & "Bastille Day". He says it's like classic heavy riff after classic heavy riff with some unbelievable playing, says they just throw down for the spirit of radio, says "Red Barchetta" is an amazing display of musician pyrotechnics & says "Working Man" is amazing. He says if you're a Rush fan or just a music fan in general, you have to see the "R30" DVD or go buy it: http://tinyurl.com/y6ro24 , because you can't see it anywhere & it's not playing at the Cineplex Odeon or the Lowes [movie theaters]. He says when he 1st heard the song title "Red Barchetta" as a kid as he bought the "Moving Pictures" album at 12 years old, he didn't understood what that meant. He says for the fact that the album cover had Rush dressed up as workers moving big pictures: http://tinyurl.com/yf9mnq & http://tinyurl.com/y5qxp7 , says he thought that was the coolest thing & says "Moving Pictures, get it". He says he's done some research & rock history browsing, says "Red Barchetta" is 1 of those weird stories that Neil "Peart/Peert/Pert" & says if you're gonna pick a little white ball out of the ocean then it's a pearl. He says Neil's name is P-E-A-R with a "T" at the end of it, says if he'll eat a fruit that's kinda greenish & yellow it's a pear & spells Neil's name as P-E-A-R-T. He asks as to which [name] is it, then says there's [the name] Pearce, spells it & says it's "Peert" & asks for some clarification on that. He says "Red Barchetta" is an old car that the guys white haired uncle has in his garage, but the thing's that it's in the future & the motor law's been issued, which means you can't drive a car. He says the only things that you can drive to transport yourself around, are flying machines & says the guy breaks the motor law, gets into his "Red Barchetta" & drives around till the big machines follow him. He says the guy goes under a bridge & says "THIS IS MY RED CAR" where he'll go under the bridge, but the ships that're following him are too wide for the bridge so the guy's able to escape & go back to his uncle's house, ditch the "Red Barchetta" & drink some tea by the [as he sings it] "FIRE-SIDE". He says it's 1 of those cool space aged anthems & 1 of the best Rush songs & albums "Moving Pictures" on the best radio show on the entire XM Radio nation. He says he's pissed & not afraid to tell you Rock Of Jericholics that he ain't happy, says he was walking the mall recently & passed an XM Radio guy who was handing out pamphlets of XM Radio but when you look thru it, it's like "Bob Dylan: www.xmradio.com/bobdylan , Ludacris: http://tinyurl.com/vhxf , Snoop Dogg: http://tinyurl.com/vhxk , Power Jones" or whoever & all these f*****g guys that have their own shows that say on how great these shows are. He then says "Tom Petty presents 'Deep Tracks' ": http://tinyurl.com/os3mk but not 1 mention Y2J's show & says they also had a blurb about all of the majority of the 70 or 80 channels that XM has. He says when it came to XM 41 Da Boneyard it was "80's Hard Rock", says that's what defines what category Da Boneyard is but says it's more than 80's hard rock. He says if you listen to "The ROJ" which's the flagship program of on Da Boneyard, says the channel plays everything 70's, 80's, 90's & 2000 & says the point's that if you're as pissed as he is, go on this link: http://tinyurl.com/qk6fm & email the right person [NOTE FROM JEFF: when you go on that link, click on the category that fits what he's referring to & click next] & mention that "The ROJ" is the greatest radio show in the XM universe. He says he wants to keep his show going & loves doing it, says he loves hearing from you & playing requests like a mo-fo & says he's got some requests coming up later. He then plugs his email messagesforchris@gmail.com & his 2 sites www.chrisjericho.com & www.myspace.com/therockofjericho & asks you to sign up on his MySpace & be his friend. He asks for us to join hands together in pure, unadulterated rockestity & again says 80's hard rock's not the only thing that Da Boneyard does. He says they play the newest metal bands, says he found a new 1 called Mastodon & asked if you've heard of them. He says their last record ["Leviathan"] was a concept record based on the whale Moby Dick, says it's not the drum solo by John Bonham but the actual Capt. Ahab & the white whale. He says it takes lots of rockestity to be able to pull it off & write a whole concept record based on a giant whale & make it kickass. He says their new record "Blood Mountain" just came out: http://tinyurl.com/yz2ct2 & got a huge 4 star review in Rolling Stone magazine [NOTE FROM JEFF:It's actually 5 stars: http://tinyurl.com/ymjul3 ], says he loves the magazine but says they don't appreciate heavy metal in any shape or form & says in 1 issue, they phrased Iron Maiden's "A Matter Of Life & Death": http://tinyurl.com/ymtyhq as well as "Blood Mountain" by talking about how cool it is. He says he had to check it out & says like Avenged Sevenfold he says "ME LIKE, ME LIKE, ME LOVE THEM LONG TIME JOE". He says let's check out the newest member of The Rock Of Jericho stable of bands, says this is Mastodon from "Blood Mountain" right here on a Sunday night.

3. Plays Mastodon's "Capillarian Crest", Vinnie Vincent's "Animal" & Kiss' "Hate".

4. Y2J says "Hate" is from the forgotten record "Carnival Of Souls", says that was a record that Kiss made in the midst of doing their reunion tour, says he was pissed because you know he loves "Revenge" & says "Carnival Of Souls" was the followup to "Revenge" with Bruce Kulick & Eric Singer. He says suddenly Peter Criss & Ace Frehley returned to Kiss, Eric & Bruce were out & says this was kinda the fruits of their labor. He says it was a real heavy record as you can tell from that last song, says it was almost grunge influenced with a couple of Soundgarden type tracks & says it was the next step in the progression of Kiss. He says Kiss went from a party rock band to a glam rock band to a disco band to a heavy hard rock band to a thrash band & then going into the grunge sound. He says Paul Stanley put out his new solo record "Live To Win" & says it'll be out soon [10/24: http://tinyurl.com/y3pha8 ], says he'll be play tracks from it as soon as he gets it in his fat, greasy little hand, then says he's got something else in his fat, greasy little hand & says "HEL-LO". He says the 1 thing that's cool is for the fact that he wrestled in WWE for 6 years, wrestled worldwide for 15 years & says all of that will be documented in his new book which is almost finished, says it's called "A Lion's Tale" & says to check it out when it's out. He says that's shameless plugging just like Gene Simmons & learned from the best, says it's cool when you're recognized for other things also & mentions people saying "Ah I saw you at "The Groundlings": www.groundlings.com or "on VH1" or "I love your band". He says he was at a grocery store recently in Tampa, Florida in Sweet Bay, then says "Shweet Bay" & says he was going to the spices isle looking for a fine bottle of oregano, cinnamon, parmesan or whatever it was. He says this dude walks by & says "hey man I love your show I listen to it every single week, I'm a big fan of your show & you play great music & it's what it should be". He says he thought that was cool, says he forgot the guy's name & says the guy told him he loved Kiss & says to the guy that he met in Sweet Bay that loves "The ROJ" in Tampa, he says "Hate" was for him. He says sandwiched in between is the disgruntled Kiss member Vinnie Vincent, says he was in the band then out of the band, he wrote songs for the band he didn't write songs for the band & currently resides in the "Where are they now" file. He says Vinnie has an open invitation to join him in his own supergroup called "Jericho", asks Vinnie if he's listening he wants to rock with him cowboy & says "Animal" is a great track for the movie "Summer School": http://tinyurl.com/ylbk65 with Mark Harmon. He says if you remember when the house starts on fire "Animal" is playing in the background, asks as to how he knows this stuff, says he's not sure & don't know why he knows these things. He says he's got no segway for the next section, says he played the D-Rox Festival [9/30] in Sedalia, Kansas which is closest to Kansas City, says it was called "Delicious Rox" & says the event wasn't as promised to be. He says it turned out to be a Spinal Tap-esk situation where "The Foz" showed up & says they were told there'd be 10,000 fans at this Woodstock like festival. He says they pulled up & there may've been like 500 fans there, says there was a big open field that had a couple of people here & a couple of people there. He says then when Fozzy was in their trailer getting ready for the gig, the promoter knocked on their door & told them: "Hey, there's an injured fan that came here to the show "The Foz" & asked if they can come out & say hi", Y2J says he saw a huge goose egg on top of her [the fan's] head & was maybe 15. He says she came all the way from Peoria or wherever to see them & some knucklehead from 1 of the earlier bands who he says the bandname & instrument that he played for the band will be nameless, then says it's the bassist from American Head Charge [Mr. H.C Banks III, formerly Chad Hanks] & gives a phony cough. He says bassist from American Head Charge whipped a bottle from the stage into the crowd & it hit the girl on top of her head, says she was taken backstage & was taken to the hospital, then she passed out 2 or 3 times & was crying. He says he met her & kinda made her day a little bit but for the fact that she had a huge ice pack on her head, says they gave her Fozzy merchandise & stuff & was about ready to go on stage, but the promoter returns to them & says "Listen, the cops have been called, the guy from American Head Charge is getting 'Head Charged' " & says American Criminal Charge will be their new name. He then says the promoter said: "The bottom line's that they'll be shutting the show down & don't know when, but might do it in the middle of their set". He says "The Foz" goes on & destroyed & was supposed to only do 3 songs, says they opened with "To Kill A Stranger" from "Happenstance", then "Enemy" from "All That Remains" & after playing an unnamed song, the guy [the promoter] came on stage & he [Y2J] had to announce that the festival's cancelled. He says fans were booing & pissed & tells them that they better leave ASAP because if they look over there, they'll see a line of cops & if you do anything wrong they won't be happy so to please leave quietly. He says the fans did & the whole festival was shut down due to the jackoff throwing a bottle in the crowd, says that's not cool & says when Sebastian Bach did it in '91 & it ain't cool now, especially when it cut off his band's set when they were getting warmed up. He says "The Foz" throws it down like no one else & were having a good time, says it wasn't right & cool & announces a game to play. He says when he plays the next track which is the song that Fozzy played at D-Rox ["Eat The Rich"], says when the song's done & wants you to pretend that you're a promoter who's saying "I'm sorry but we have to cut "The Foz" off in the middle of the show, but due to insurance purposes & felonies the show's shut down". He says you're now in the crowd & he's on stage, then yells "THANK YOU, HELLO D-ROX, THIS SONG'S A ROCK & ROLL SONG & HAVE A GREAT TIME" & says they start playing in 3-2-1.

5. Plays Fozzy's "Eat The Rich" & Stuck Mojo's "Not Promised Tomorrow".

6. Y2J says Stuck Mojo's "Not Promised Tomorrow" had a little bit of Rich Ward magic & Fozzy's "Eat The Rich" which was the song that he played before they got shut down. He says Rich's currently finishing up the new Stuck Mojo record since Bonz's departure, says he's been working with a couple of new singers & says the record should be ready soon. He says to keep an eye out for it, then plugs their MySpace site www.myspace.com/stuckinthemojo & says you can go on his own MySpace to go on theirs. He asks for you to email him requests, says he had a request about a month ago for some "Celtic/Keltic" Frost, says he played it last week & was the cover of Wall Of Voodoo's "Mexican Radio". He says he was talking about "Cherry Orchards" which was a total sellout & don't know why they did it. He says it's the same as Venom showing up in "ball hugging" spandex & makeup, says they may've worn them anyways but Tom G. Warrior & the other pretty boys got into the band & says the back cover of the "Cold Lake" record. He says it's an unusual record cover, says the band had their top buttons of their tight [as he says it] "acid washed" jeans open & says it was the best & heaviest Motley Crue song, but they never played it. He guesses that Tom was sick of being in a circle of tyrannts death metal, hell hammered type band & wanted to do a commercial glam route, says Tom did that but it was such a 180 of a change that it may've hurt "Celtic/Keltic" Frost for many years to come. He thinks he should play the evidence because it's a great song, says he & his friends loved it & used to watch the video of it, says the band was like piercing their lips & pouting to the camera & thought that these are the guys that had skulls & spitting blood in their last video. He says it had the pentagram & satanic overtures & says it's pretty much the same with Motley Crue's "Shout To The Devil" record. He says this is "Celtic/Keltic" Frost which he'll play probably his favorite song by them, but says it's also the song that probably killed them for all their true blue fans. He says this is the majesty "Cherry Orchards".

7. Plays Celtic Frost's "Cherry Orchards" & David Lee Roth's "Slam Dunk!".

8. Y2J says "Slam Dunk!" is a pretty little ditty with the guitar work of John 5, who either is currently or used to play with Paul Stanley on the "Live To Win" record & is now in Rob Zombie's band on the "Educated Horses" record & touring with the band also. He says "Slam Dunk!" was after Roth's popularity [yep, as he says it] "waned" in '98 when the record ["DLR Band"] came out on an indy label [Wawazat Records], says it had all these crazy songs & even though "Slam Dunk!" is a cool song, he mentions "Lose The Dress [Keep The Shoes]" & says that's his motto for any fine female that may meet him in the future. He says another great song title which was the name of his record company that he released it under called "Wa Wa Zat!!", as in "What Was That" but spelled differently & sings:"Wa Wa Zat!!", BIOW, "Wa Wa Zat!!", BEBEBOW, "Wa Wa Zat!!", "Wa Wa Zat!!' ". He says only Dave can get away with opening a record company called Wawazat Records & says "DAVE RULES, DAVE PLEASE, GET A HOLD OF EDDIE VAN HALEN, GRAB HIM BY HIS THROAT & SAYS 'EDDIE, STOP IT, STOP WRITING SONGS FOR PORNOS & GET BACK ON THE HORSE, CLEAN UP, REHEARSE & LET'S GO PLAY FRIGGING GIANTS STADIUM WITH THE VH REUNION TOUR'". He says it's gotta happen, says he'd pay $40 a piece for each guy to make it happen & says last week he played the controversial epic of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird" as his closure song. He felt lots of people dug it but says it was like "Lynyrd Skynyrd, 15 minutes of Skynyrd of his show & it's kind of you know, a weird proposition". He says Skynyrd's a heavy band, says he wants to back up his statement by showing you more examples of that & says '87, thought it was on Armored Saint's "Symbol Of Salvation", then sings "THE RAIN FREEZE" & says it's "Raising Fear". He says they did a cover of Skynyrd's "Saturday Night Special", says it was very heavy & 1 of the 1st Skynyrd songs that he ever heard. He says back then there was such a division between liking metal & not liking metal, says either you were a metalhead or you weren't & says if you liked Lynyrd Skynyrd then you couldn't be a metalhead. He says he was so tunnelvisioned towards 1 side that he never really listened to lots of Skynyrd & says when he 1st heard this as to how heavy the band & some of their songs were. He says let's check out Armored Saint doing Skynyrd's "Saturday Night Special", right here on the "Sunday Night Special" The Rock Of Jericho.

9. Plays Armored Saint's "Saturday Night Special", Loudness' "Get Away" & Killer Dwarfs' "Hard Luck Town".

10. Y2J says "Hard Luck Town" is a great song, says Killer Dwarfs are a Canadian band with the craziest Canadian accent, then impersonates them & says "OH WE'RE THE KILLER DWARFS YOU KNOW & WE GONNA COME & PLAY SOME SONGS FOR YOU EH". He says he's seen them on tour with Skid Row in '92, says that was the year that Skid Row toured with Pantera but when they did Canada, Pantera didn't follow & lots of people were pissed. He says he on the other hand, then says "call me kooky, call me crazy, call me wacky" was excited that Killer Dwarfs were on the bill & not Pantera. He laughs & says that was just his thing at the time & was really digging Killer Dwarfs, says they had a couple of real cool records & mentions "Dirty Weapons" may've been the only good 1 that had every killer song & says ["Hard Luck Town"] it's from the "Mind Over Matter" record [NOTE FROM JEFF:It's really from the "Method To The Madness" record: http://tinyurl.com/t66my ]. He says Killer Dwarfs recently reunited for a huge tour: www.myspace.com/killerdwarfsstandtall , says he's sure they're reuniting was on the same level as Motley Crue reunion tour but we just didn't hear about it. He says wedged in between he played lots of Mike Vescera & Loudness in the last couple of weeks, says he did the 1-2 punch of "Soldier Of Fortune" & "You Shook Me", either last week or a couple of weeks ago he did "THE FLAVOR OF LOOOOOOVE". He says he had to play some Minoru Niihara & Loudness because he just heard the "Crazy Nights" record, then says he'll rephrase that & says it's "Thunder In The East". He says that record was a f*****g killer, says they just threw down '84 & the riffs & says he loves Loudness. He says he loves the record that he played "Get Away" with the lyrics & mentions them: "Without leather you would die, without switchblades you'd be lost & without chains you'd be lost" & says it has this really weird fanatic lyrics, because they wrote them all in Japanese then translated them fanatically. He then sings in a Japanese impression: "Don't look back run for cover, save yourself save your lover. Overkill undercover, hit & run at midnight" & says you can't replace that & it's classic stuff. He says speaking of the all time classic stuff, then says 9/26 & says it'll make you feel old if you're around, says it was the 20 year anniversary of Cliff Burton's death & asks if you knew that. He says he knows we're a couple of weeks late [of mentioning it], says he had to point it out because he forgot about it. He again says it's been 20 years since Cliff died & asks as to how crazy is that, says it don't seem that long & says Cliff along with Steve Harris is, was & still is Y2J's all time favorite bassist. He says his 1st bands that he was in he played bass, says all they did was Metallica & Iron Maiden covers, says Cliff was an amazing great player & says he saw in the newspaper that he died the next day on the 27th. He says he used to get the morning paper in Winnipeg, says when he read about it he was so upset the whole day & says he used to wear checkered lumberjack plad shirts like Cliff wore. He says he remembers walking to school with a friend of his that's into techno music who's name was [yep, as he says it] "Greg Wall-Ass", says he was so upset about Cliff dying that his friend used to bug him about Cliff & his bellbottoms. He says his friend would says "Ah man that's too bad, yeah I heard that the bus fell on him & he was OK, but when they tried pulling him out, the bellbottom caught underneath the bus & flipped the bus over on him". He says he told his friend that it wasn't funny & friend's response was "yeah, they're gonna write a new song called "For Whom The Bellbottoms Toll'". He says he told his friend to stop & his friend's response was the next song's called "Trapped Under A Bus", so Y2J says he punched his friends face & fell into a puddle of mud on a cold September day. He says he & his friend still talk about it when he was so mad that Cliff died who's a guy that he never met & punched 1 of his best friends. He says his friend deserved it, says "Trapped Under A Bus" ain't funny, it's disrespectful & says it still makes him mad to this day. He says Cliff was an originator & was the 1st guy to have long bangs for his hair, says everyone had the short, cut across the eyebrows & says Cliff had the long 1 length hair as well as bellbottoms. He asks if Metallica would be popular & gotten as big if Cliff was still alive, says he don't know & can't answer that, but knows that Cliff was huge into bands like The Allman Brothers & Lynyrd Skynyrd. He says Cliff had a punk influence with The Misfits & kinda guided what James [Hetfield] & Lars [Ulrich] were into, again asks if Metallica would be as big with Cliff if he'd live & says "maybe in a different way but yeah". He says everyone was like "Cliff was so heavy & they would've never sold out", then says no Cliff was the man with the melody in the band & says you can tell by the middle part of "Orion" that he wrote. He says Cliff was an unbelievable bassist & says when he 1st heard Cliff's solo on the "Kill 'Em All" record he couldn't believe it. He says let's revisit that moment now with "Pulling Teeth [Anesthesia]", right here on XM 41 Da Boneyard, says God bless you Cliff, he loves him & his all time favorite.

11. Plays 2 Metallica songs: "[Anesthesia] Pulling Teeth" & "Whiplash".

12. Y2J says you gotta love Metallica's "Kill 'Em All", says let's hope they're doing their new record as well as in the insurgence & the inclusion of Robert Trujillo into the band, has shot a dose of metal straight up their ass. He yells "ME-TAL UP YOUR ASS" & says they'll get back to writing songs like "Whiplash", says not that they can't ever have a song like "Anesthesia" on any record ever again. He again says God bless to Cliff Burton who was a giant of a player, then talks about Edguy's Tobias Sammet who's a non stop writing machine & says they put out new records with the same frequency that he puts on new underwear, which he says is once a year. He says they actually had a little bit of a quote/unquote "hit" on their last record "Hellfire Club", then says it actually was 2 which was that record & "Rocket Ride" & says he don't have that record & says he can't play any of the songs from there because he hasn't heard it. He asks you to email him & let him know if "Rocket Ride" is good, then says he wants to hear something from the last Edguy record & says it's a funny little ditty with a German sense of humor. He says it's prevalent with Helloween, Gamma Ray & now Edguy, who's very influenced by Helloween & says Tobias' influenced by Michael Kiske just as much as Chris Jericho's influenced by Wolfman Jack: http://tinyurl.com/ucg7v . He then does a Wolfman Jack impression & says: "So coming up next is Edguy's "Lavatory Love Machine", right here on "The ROJ".

13. Plays Edguy's "Lavatory Love Machine", Blind Guardian's "Fly" & Billy Squier's "In The Dark".

14. Y2J thinks that the worst video from the 80's was Billy Squier's "Rock Me Tonight" & says if you've never seen it, go on YouTube: http://tinyurl.com/ygahum . He says when you watch it you'll go "what the f*** were you thinking Squier", says it's so bad that Billy was like [yep, as he says it] "cavorting" on a bed, then walking by himself & marching around with white drawstring pants that's pulled up to his knees & a "muscle white shirt beater", then says "white muscle beater" & "wife beater" & says whatever it's called. He says again the video's bad & says Billy had some licks & riffs & says "In The Dark" was 1 of them. He says before that was the new Blind Guardian song "Fly" from the "A Twist In The Myth" record, says Blind Guardian's also from "Hanbig, Ger-many", then says Hamburg, Germany & says he's saying lots of [yep, as he says it] "full-pas" today because he's drunk now. He says Edguy's also from Hamburg, Germany which's a little bit of power metal pocket of sound in Germany. He says Queensryche's on tour: http://tinyurl.com/y7kaj7 for the "Operation Mindcrime 1 & 2" Broadway-esk estraveganzas, says they're also riding their motorcycles from gig to gig in support for the "Music In Schools" or whatever VH1 has which's a learn to play music in schools program, says it's got a fancier name than that & then says it's called "Save The Music": http://tinyurl.com/yj5f6z . He says it's like "Save The Whales": www.savethewhales.org but it's music & not whales, gives a phony laugh & says he'll leave the whales up to Mastodon. He then says Queensryche ride from gig to gig on their motorcycles, says people & fans follow them & guesses that the fans pay money to Geoff Tate to follow them on their motorcycles, then says he don't know & has no idea. He says they're doing it for a good cause & get to ride their bikes, then play "Operation Mindcrime 1 & 2" in it's entirety. He says he himself's getting a little bit sick of the whole "Mindcrime" thing, says he'd like for them to play 1st Queensryche EP ["Queensryche"]: http://tinyurl.com/yhfuhg in it's entirety, which was a 4 song EP & just get on stage & start with "Queen Of The Reich", end with "The Lady Wore Black" which's a cozy 20 minutes, then go backstage & ride their motorcycles to the next town. He says that's smart, thinks they should come to his own backyard & play it, then says he can hear this next song ["Blinded"] which's from the 1st Queensryche EP. He says he won't tell you what it's called & you'll have to read the "crawler" at the bottom of your XM Radio "unit": http://tinyurl.com/y3ryxw to find out the name of the song. He says it's because he's a brat & on Da Boneyard.

15. Plays Queensryche's "Blinded" & Iced Earth's "The Reckoning".

16. Y2J says Iced Earth's recording their new record with new vocalist Tim "The Ripper" Owens who he says is 1 of the greatest live singers he's ever seen, who's hand in hand with the other greatest live singer he's ever seen Bruce Dickinson & says he'll be seeing Iron Maiden in LA at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater this Saturday [10/21] night: http://tinyurl.com/r3d5b . He says if you see him there to come up to him & say "hey buddy, you run a great show". He says he's so excited, says he knows some things about Maiden, says he'll spoil something for you & says "spoiler alert" & says if you don't wanna hear what Maiden's setlist is on the new tour, then shut your radio off. He then says Maiden actually plays the new record "A Matter Of Life & Death" in it's entirety, asks if it's good or bad & if people will know the songs as well as if it's great that they're playing something brand new or is it a little bit scarry. He says he'll find out & give a full review, says he hasn't been at a gig like this in a while that he's so excited about & says he'll tell you all about it on the 10/29 edition of his show. He says even though it's a couple of weeks away he'll still be at the Maiden show next Saturday & says they'll be playing this song ["Legacy"], which's the last song on the record & it's a creepy Maiden song which's 1 of his favorites. He says he'll end it with that song off, says he's over, finished, gone, done & out, says it's from the "A Matter Of Life & Death" record which they're play all the way thru, it's Iron Maiden's "Legacy", right here on "The ROJ" on XM 41 Da Boneyard & says good night.

17. Ends with Iron Maiden's "Legacy" & the show ends at 10:01PM.
