By Mike Johnson on 2006-09-28 16:00:00

TNA will debut in Portugal on 10/31, holding an event at the 7,000 seat Campo Pequeno Bullfighting Arena in Lisbon, Portugal, the capital city of the country.

Already announced as appearing are NWA champion Jeff Jarrett, Christian Cage, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Team 3D, Abyss, Jerry Lynn, The James Gang, Christy Hemme, Rhino, Brother Runt, and Gail Kim, among other talent to be announced. TNA will be filming footage of the show for inclusion on Impact.

The show is titled "Impacto Total" (Total Impact) and will be held under the Portuguese Wrestling Association (APW) banner. It is being locally promoted by Elec3city, the same company that produces children events for "Noddy" and "Bob the Builder" as well as numerous other musical and sporting events internationally.

The show has been attracting tons of coverage in the Portugal media today. Tickets are slated to go on sale this Saturday, with prices ranging from 20 to 60 Euros.

The show will be the first wrestling event featuring American stars in Portugal since 1993, taking place prior to a scheduled December WWE event that is already sold out.
