WHAT HAPPENED TO ICP?, SEE HOW THE LIVE CROWD IN ORLANDO REACTED TO THE TNA-ANGLE SIGNING, CAPITAL PUNISHMENT, STING, LUGER, BUFF & MORE TNA NEWS

By Mike Johnson on 2006-09-28 10:45:00

TNA's website has posted footage that a fan shot at this past weekend's No Surrender PPV, showing the deafening crowd reaction to the Kurt Angle signing announcement. It's pretty impressive. You can check it out by clicking the YouTube.com video below:

TNA officially announced that Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell would be appearing on tonight's Impact. They will not be wrestling.

For those wondering what happened with Insane Clown Posse at the Impact taping this past Monday, after they promoted the appearance on the Howard Stern show on Monday morning, ICP never arrived at the taping, so TNA re-wrote all their scheduled plans. ICP would have been involved with Team 3D at the taping.

There will be a number of rematches from the No Surrender PPV this Friday at the "Capital Punishment" event promoted by Hermie Sadler's UWF promotion in Richmond, Virginia. The show looks really strong on paper. One thing that TNA has above WWE right now as a live product is that you will really see a harder work ethic at their events. The WWE mindset for house shows is often to do the least possible so you are healthy for the next night, especially since the events don't "matter" in the scheme of things. TNA's workers are more likely to pull out all the stops. If you are attending the show, feel free to send me a live report by clicking on my name above. The complete card features:

*NWA champion Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe in a No Surrender rematch
*NWA Tag Team champions AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels first title defense of their new reign vs. LAX
*Rhino vs. Abyss - Extreme Rules
*Earl Hebner vs. Brian Hebner - Hair vs. Hair with Christy Hemme as the special referee
*Shark Boy vs. Petey Williams vs. Chris Sabin
*Sonjay Dutt vs. Alex Shelley
*America's Most Wanted vs. The James Gang based off of their angle at No Surrender
*Also scheduled for the show are Eric Young and an appearance by former NWA United States champion Magnum TA. For ticket information, visit www.UWFUSA.com.

TNA posted a video preview of their forthcoming Sting DVD, which you can check out below:
